- Lunch break- 

We're standing outside, because the sun is shining, and we're eating our lunch. By we, I mean Jessica, Elvira, Kate, and me. Jessica has been my best friend since elementary school, and I met the others a few years ago. Elvira is a vegetarian, just like me. We both care a lot about the environment. Kate is like the kid of the group. She is extremely bad at lying and we always have to remind her of things. 

"Let's play one of Kates's games!", Kate says. She always wants to hear the gossip and stuff about boys. So we named the games like Truth or Dare and Kiss, Marry, Kill after her. 

"Oh no, not again..." I sigh. 

"Come on, I'm bored," Kate begs.

"I'm in!" says Jessica. Elvira too. 

I give in. I will never admit it, but I like those games pretty much. 

Jessica: "Why don't we play Kiss, Marry, Kill? We haven't played that one in a long time."

Kate: "Okay! Can I start?"

Jessica: "Sure!"

Kate: "Alright, I choose Elvira; Jason, Luke, and ummm... Simon."

Elvira blushes, we all know she has had a crush on Simon for ages. 

Elvira: "Marry Simon, uh I guess kiss Jason and kill Luke. I just can't stand him, he always thinks he's better than everyone."

Me: "Yeah, I agree. By the way, how have you and Simon been lately?"

Elvira: "I wished him a happy birthday last week and he sent thank you with a heart emoji back!"

Jessica: "Wow, he must reeaaalllly be in love.."

We laugh.

Elvira changes the subject: "Okay, it's my turn now. I choose Rufina: Luke, Sylvan, and Harry. "

I freeze as soon as I hear his name. But they can't notice anything. I've got to keep cool. 

Me: "Oh, an easy one: kill Sylvan, of course. I think Marry Harry because that kinda rhymes. And kiss Luke. "

Jessica: "Oh, I wouldn't have done it that way. I think I would kill Luke, kiss Harry and Marry Sylvan because he is always very nice."

Kate: "Ooooooo, someone has a little crush..."

Although I don't want to, I feel a little jealous. But why would I? I hate him and vice versa. Period.

Jessica: "No, of course not, he is just the least bad option. Besides, I would never have a crush on him. Every single thing about him is ugly; weird hair, braces, nerdy glasses. "

I nod as if I agree. 

The school bell rings, time to go to mentor class.
