He was none other than Veeranshu Singhania. He was looking so handsome in the suit which fitted his body perfectly. My eyes were glued to him.
It is not like I don't know him and have never seen him before but today I find him much more attractive. I guess it's because of the purpose I'm here for.
My mother called me many times but I was so lost in the view in front of me that I didn't give attention to her.
"Riya come to the earth", my mother told me.
"I'm already on the earth mom", I told her so that she doesn't find I was ogling him.
I saw Veeranshu's mother coming in my direction. She stopped in front of me and caressed my cheeks.
"You're looking so beautiful", complimented my soon-to-be mother-in-law, "Come let's have a seat, I have so much to talk to you about."
I melted at her gestures. I guess if I get married, I'll be very happy in this house.
I one last time glanced at Veeranshu before placing myself on the light brown colour sofa. Veeranshu was sitting across from me.
My parents and his parents talked about casual things for a while, after that they started talking to us about the marriage.
I feel like someone was staring at me. My brown eyes caught another pair of brown eyes staring at me. The latter smirked making me a blushing mess so I lowered my gaze just not to be killed by this man. I don't know how I will resist this man after the marriage. Wait I didn't even say yes.
My thoughts were interrupted by veeranshu's mother.
"You both can go to the balcony and talk," said my soon-to-be
mother-in-law.Veeranshu nodded and told me to follow him.
I started following him and was feeling so nervous and at the same time very excited. He was looking stunning from his backside too. I don't understand, he is 27 and how can he stay unmarried till present. I mean every girl would be drooling on him.
We went to the balcony. I was so amazed by the view in front of me, everything was so wonderful.
"Hey, How are you?" asked Veeranshu in a calm tone.
"I'm fine." I wanted to ask him how he was but nothing uttered from my mouth. Besides, I was getting goosebumps all over my body.
He faced my direction and asked, "Do you want to marry me?"
I was all blank and felt thousands of butterflies in my stomach. His gaze was piercing me. With hesitance, I replied, "I didn't decide yet. I need some time.
"I can understand. Marriage is not a game, every couple must know each other." After taking a long pause he said," I wanted to confess something for a long time but today I got the courage to say this. Riya I like you for a long time. I know we don't know each other personally but whenever my father talked about you he always endorsed you. From that, I came to know that you're nice but when I saw you for the first time in the cafe, my heart started beating instantly. I felt that was the indication for me to know you are the one made for me."
His eyes justified what he said was true and were filled with affection.
He continued, "I'm not forcing you. If you choose to say no then it's fine but if you announce yes then I promise you, I'll never let a tear escape your eyes. You'll always be happy with me."
I was amazed by his words. Emotions were swirling in me. I was confused about whether to say yes or no but my heart was yelling to say yes.

We were back to where our parents were. I sat on the left of my mother.
His mother asked us, "Did you both speak to each other?"
We nodded. Then they asked us what was our decision.
