Lia wasn't very calm. Her long life dream of visiting an American High school would come true. "Honey I know you're excited for your new school but please calm down!" Her mother was really trying her best to calm her daughter down without discouraging her. "Come on now, we need to leave! Our flight is already In 4 hours!"
"I know mom" they got in to their car and started driving. "Do you have everything?" Ms. Jojackson was as nervous as her daughter, she hated airplanes. "Yep I triple checked every corner of the house, we forgot nothing!"
"I'm going to miss our old home.."
"Me too mom, but hey! We're moving to the US"
"Sweetie I already told you, not everything is great in the US"
"Not everything is great in great Britain as well, and still you and dad moved in"
"I know, I know but I'm just trying to prepare you, in case something doesn't goes the way you expected it and I don't want you to turn out disappointed and"
"Mom! I'm gonna be just fine! I've watched enough movies and musicals to know what's going on In an typical American school"
Her mother just sighed and continued driving.
12 hours later they finally arrived at their new home. Most of their furniture already arrived, tough some of it is still on its way. Ms. Jojackson prepared mattresses to sleep on for her daughter and her self. Lia was too tired to explore the house, and since she's going to have school tomorrow, she really needs to sleep. It was only 6 pm but she had an exhausting flight and couldn't sleep. She changed clothes and went straight to bed. She knew the next day was going to be great.
