*Anika's point of view*
I hear voices speaking in the kitchen. I stand just around the corner, so I can hear them speak, but I can't be seen.
"...that doesn't sound good." Dru's mom says.
"Well, nothing can be done now." I hear Dru's father say.
"Well, I'm sure Lian could track him down and..." Ian's mom stops abruptly.
"Do you here that?"
I put a hand over my mouth. Well, if they didn't want me to hear anything, they shouldn't have talked about this in my house. I'm surprised when I hear Amy's mom say,
"Must be Anika. We shouldn't have had this meeting here." Yeah, you tell 'em.
Then my breath catches when I hear a very familiar voice say, "I'll go talk to her. After all, she is my daughter."

I finish with an A chord. I finally found the perfect song to play for Jordan. Once Amy had gone, for some reason all this inspiration just came to me. As I look down at Jordan, just lying there, I notice something different. A light that used to be orange is now a bright green. I feel my pulse beet, what does that mean? I sit up and my chair falls over, I don't bother to pick it up. I run out of the hospital room until I run into a doctor. I tell him about the light and he runs along side me to Jordan's room. By then a few nurses had already gathered around her bed. More doctors and nurses come in, I'm pushed out of the room as it fills up with people. I look around frantically, trying to find answers, I need answers. Where would I go to find answers? I see a man running down the hospital hall. Wait, do I know him? That's the man that crashed the wedding! He zooms past me in the hall, I wait a few seconds then run after him. He pauses by a door. He looks around, I jump behind a wall so he won't see me. I peak around the corner as he pulls out a key and opens the door. It leads outside. I follow behind him. He walks to the middle of what looks like a parking lot, and just stops. He looks to the right, then to the left. Then he says, "Are you following me, son of a spy?"

So, a lot happened this chapter considering this is the second last chapter. It will all come together next chapter though, don't worry. Plus, the second book will be out probably around the beginning of summer.
