Chapter 32 - New student

The train began to move and our parents began to appear smaller and smaller the farther the train took us till we no longer could see them in view

"Well I'm going to assume our padfoot finally got the girl he got the way he has an arm around you and how we saw the way you two kissed in front of your parents" James crossed his arms smugly but neither of us said a word before he cut in

"Wait a minute- it's more than that huh, tell us what happened between you two over break, don't tell me you two" he paused "no- no way" he leaned forward and shoved Sirius in his seat "finally scored that padfoot?" I got more annoyed at the second "quiet down prongs don't want the whole train to hear you" Sirius tried quieting down his best mate but James only got louder "oh that definitely confirms it" he laughed

"miss hard to get finally caved" I glared over at him "speaking of miss hard to get how's Evans? She still ignoring you or has Sirius beat your progress?" That shut him up real quick- Peter let out a laugh he quickly tried covering up "what's so funny wormtail?" Peter cleared his throat "nothing"

The more time passed and the four marauders spent chatting I stayed silent looking out the window at the scenery I had several things on my mind but the one thing I had to speak to Sirius about is what happened last night at the restaurant. I made it my mission to find out more about that whole situation, I had yet found time to pick up the Daily prophet

I turned at Sirius "can I talk to you outside real quick?" They all looked at me "yea Sirius go talk to your girlfriend, I'm sure she wants to do loooads of talking with you in the bathroom or empty compartment" Sirius looked at James and laughed "shove off prongs" he said before looking back at me and standing up "of course let's go" we made our way out and to my annoyance James was right we had to go into an empty compartment to talk. I didn't want anyone else to hear us

"What's up?" He sat down across from me "I just wanted to talk to you about last night" he visibly tensed "what about last night?" I shrugged "do you know anything about who or what happened last night? Because I don't have a clue" well I know something's but he doesn't need to know that "no, I'm just as confused as you, if I had known there would be an attack I'd never put you at risk out there" he seemed honestly, and If I didn't know much he most definitely didn't know anything "alright, that all" he nodded and we sat in silence for a few seconds before I got up but before I could leave Sirius held me back by my waist "what-" he cut me off kissing me. I gave in for a few seconds before shoving him back "Sirius we can't" he kissed me again "why not?" He went down to my neck- I hoped he didn't leave any marks in that short second "because Sirius," come up with a lie quick, quickly Elise "not here" I pushed him off again "fine, we'll continue this some other time" we left the compartment and entered ours

"Been gone an awful long time to just talk don't you think Moony" Remus kept his eyes on his book But the second he looked up at us all three of the boys stared at us with jaws open "close your mouths you three might catch a fly" this snapped them back

"Say padfoot, I wasn't aware you're a fan of lipstick" no- "what do you mean?" Sirius looked confused but I knew exactly what they meant looking at him "mate you might want to look in a mirror" Remus handed him a bookmark that was reflective

"Oh shit" Sirius chuckled before using his sleeve to wipe my lipstick off his lips that transferred onto him in those few seconds  "damn i'm truly never wrong, what did I tell you all, these two just can't keep their hands off each other" James looked at me- or more at my neck with a grin- shit shit shit
