"Hello citizens of Japan," All Might said into the microphone in front of him. Taking a few deep breaths, "As many of you know, the Izuku Yagi post-line has been trending lately. Well I'm here today, to apologize. Publicly, because it's to late to do so personally. I came to apologize, because Izuku Yagi was my son."

With that one statement the whole world was at a standstill. The global number one hero, had just admitted he was not only involved with the Neglect of Izuku Yagi, but he was a main part of it. Outrage, that was the reaction. And anybody with half a brain could do figure that one out.

-- Or, at least it should have been. Instead, everything seemed to stop. The cars, parked and turned off. The chatter of bustling cities now quieter than a ghost town. Even the public transportation systems around the globe seemed to standstill. A deafening silence seemed to wrap around the globe. Even the buzz of everyday machines seemed to scratch like nails rubbing slowly across a blackboard.

With that All Might left News office. Calmly he walked out leaving the world silent. But he didn't care, but because his duty should have been to his family not the press. And for that mistake Toshinori swore he'd change, even if it cost him everything.

Because God only knows how much his son lost, because he had let his blindness consume him. This was his retribution, he declared that to himself.

With that Toshinori went to make sure no one was around and powered down. Before walking home... The long way.
"WHAT THE FUDGE WHERE YOU ON TOSHINORI!!!" Inko yelled, two seconds after Toshinori walked in,  "DID YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES YOUR ACTIONS HAVE?!"

"I DO!" Toshinori bit back, "BUT HOW COULD I STAND FOR JUSTICE, WHEN I MYSELF BROKE THE RULES. I'M NOT GOING TO BE A HYPOCRITE ANYMORE INKO. Besides, you and Endeavor are strong heroes. You can protect Japan. You must, because this country needs a support system. Villains will rise, yes. But you inspire hope in the weak. Endeavor instills fear in the villains, I inspired peace. Besides, unlike when I started, you aren't alone. The world isn't wrapped around His finger."

"YOU-- YOU'RE AN ABSOLUTE DUMBASS" Inko finished before going away, "What about Izumi? Did you think about her when you marched over?"

"How dare you," Toshinori replied in shock, betrayed that Inko would ask that, "Of course I did. Everything I had ever done, ever will do is for her, and now Izuku. Even if it's too late. And now, I know I'm not fit to raise a child. Not now, but I will put in the work and hours and when push comes to shove Hell can suck it, I WILL get our daughter back. When I myself am worthy of the tittle, father"

"Fine. I'll hold you to it." Inko replied annoyed, "But your sleeping on the couch tonight"

...

Two weeks later the hero polls came, and All Might wasn't there. He was no longer a hero, and even if he was, after his life announcement he would still have sunk to lower than top 5. So instead, Endeavor took the top spot. Green Telik in a close race at second. Edgeshot, Best Jeanist, and Mirko taking up the remaining spots in the top five.

The most surprising though, was the kid who got 14th place in the polls. Hawks. He had become a hero just over one year ago. He was a sensation that was taking the world by storm. Only one person had climbed rankings at that speed.

All Might.

And those who made that connections supported Hawks at arms length. and It was understandable, the global Icon had just admitted being a main figure of a widely viral Neglect and Abuse case.

It was all over the media, an "instant scoop". Damn Vultures, never knew how to keep things private. And whilst everyone agreed, they also watched intently wanting to make sure All Might was served justice. And most would agree he was. Because of his service to the world, All Might wasn't going to prison as many, many, many of his enemies would be there as well as it wouldn't be fair. And nearly 93% of the global population agreed, to that point. Instead, he had his license completely revoked. and he would be forced to pay a fine of ¥ 6,899,275 ($50,000). Finally he was no longer allowed to promote any self branding.
