She's Busy

Ever since Jennie left for Thailand for recording their new reality show "Blackpink House", Y/N was left feeling miserable. She didn't like when Jennie had to leave for a concert or fan meeting, but knew it was a part of Jennie and her band Blackpink's job. Which meant they had to travel abroad often. 

Face timing was not the same as seeing her girlfriend in person but atleast Y/N got to see her face. The first few weeks they would facetime or text almost everyday, however it wasn't until the 4th week that Jennie started contacting her lesser and lesser everyday. Y/N didn't think much of it at first, she thought Jennie was just busy with recording the show. 

However, as time passed the overthinking got worse. 

Jennie though, had no idea of Y/N's situation because of the lost of contact. There were cameras filming Jennie's every move so she would often get exhausted pretending she was full of energy in front of the camera. She would go out, film scenes, eat her meals and come back to the hotel room to sleep. She barely got time to check her phone which was dead most of the time. 

Even though Jennie was exhausted, Y/N would always be on her mind. She would think if Y/N liked the show. She would wonder if Y/N watched the episodes as they aired every week one by one. Which Y/N indeed did. Jennie tried to contact Y/N but then thought she would be busy with work.

Days passed by, Y/N decided to call Jennie but it only went to voicemail or would often come as busy or unavailable. She eventually gave up. Y/N started to think Jennie found someone better than her and probably is spending time with them. That's when, her phone started ringing. 

She saw that, Jennie was calling her. Full of happiness that she could finally talk to Jennie she picked up the phone. 

"Hey, love...how are you doing? I haven't heard from you for a while now. I'm sorry for not contacting you, I've just been so busy with shooting this show." She said. 

Jennie felt guilty for not contacting Y/N for such a long time. She missed the girl's voice, her warmth and most of all, her beautiful smile. Y/N smiled at Jennie's words. She was glad to hear that Jennie at least wasn't cheating on her. 

"I'm good, Jen. I've just been feeling a bit down without you...I kept on overthinking when you stopped contacting me. I thought you found someone better than me..I'm sorry." 

At this, Jennie frowned feeling more guilty for not texting or calling Y/N. She loved the girl with all she had and didn't want Y/N to think so low of her. Jennie had to go back to shooting BP House soon, but decided to surprise her lover. 

"Y/N I love you so much, I'll never leave you let alone cheat on you. I'm sorry for not contacting you, I promise I'll make it up to you when I come back home. Which by the way, I will be coming back home soon." Jennie said 

Y/N smiled at the thought of seeing Jennie again. She missed the girl dearly.

The shooting got over at least a week before expected. Jennie was free to go back home but she didn't tell Y/N yet, she wanted to surprise her. 

Jennie had reached Korea's airport and was on her way home. She was excited to see Y/n finally after such a long time. 

She reached home and was standing at the door of Y/N and her house (Yes Jennie and Y/N live together, deal with it.). Jennie took in a deep breath and knocked softly at the door. Y/N heard it and opened the door. 

To her shock, it was Jennie. She was surprised to see Jennie since she wasn't supposed to come back until a week later. "Is this a dream?" Y/N managed to say when she heard Jennie laugh. God, she missed her laugh. Before Y/N could say anything else, Jennie cut her off with a kiss. Pouring all her emotions in it. She missed this. She missed Jennie in her arms.
