Joan had been waiting outside of the sauna for a good half hour. She had watched Malgum's wife slip inside with one of the young pilates instructors at the gym. It was a bit cliche and showed the lack of stability in her marriage to Joan's newest enemy.

Joan rolled her eyes at the grunting and groaning taking place behind the closed door. She checked her watch. They needed to hurry up. She had a bottle of red and Kerine waiting at her home, and she wasn't planning on spending her Friday evening in a dirty germ-infested gym listening to two people fuck each other's brains out. She could be partaking in that herself.

A few moments later, she finally heard a boisterous yell from the younger man and a grunt.

"Damn it, Philippe. I told you not to come until I did! Now get on your knees and finish me."

Joan rolled her eyes. She wasn't listening to this anymore.
She grabbed the door handle and flung it open, tired of waiting and there was a gasp from the younger guy and hurried movements to cover himself. The long lithe body of the woman in front of him wasn't nearly as shaken.

"This room is occupied." Came the confident voice of Sharon Malgum.

Joan stood there as still as a statue as her eyes met the other woman's. She didn't speak a word which was taken as a challenge by the naked irritated woman in front of her. She could see it ruffle through Sharon Malgum.

"What the fuck do you want?" Sharon growled out, and an almost nonexistent smirk appeared on Joan's face.

"We need to talk about your husband. He's been a naughty boy."

Sharon raised her eyebrow at that and without a glance spoke to the young man she had just been engaged with.

"Get out."

"Should I-"

"Get the fuck out!" Sharon yelled, causing the young guy to wince before he gathered his clothes and left. The door slammed shut behind him, leaving the two women alone.
Sharon began immediately putting her clothes on, and Joan watched every movement of the feminine body. It was interesting to hear how such a beautiful woman had stayed with such a detectable man for so many years. Of course, Joan knew one thing about the couple for certain. Maybe they weren't in love but they were bonded in the despicable acts they had committed together. Sharon Malgum wasn't an innocent. She was a willing participant in her husband's atrocities. She needed to be put down, but first Joan needed her.

"So? What is this about? Did he fuck you or something?" Sharon asked sarcastically as she reached for her cigarette case in her purse.
"Not to be rude, but you're not really his type."

"Oh, I am aware of his type, Sharon. Any woman he can dominate is his type." Joan hissed.
"Even his own daughter. Tell me something. How does a mother allow such a thing?"

"You've been reading too many tabloids." Sharon laughed as she lit her cigarette.
"My child is a druggie that lies to get everything she wants."

"So she lied about her father coming into her room every night?" Joan asked as she shrugged her shoulders and crossed her arms noncommittally.
"Just like every other woman Malgum has an interest in ends up drugged and raped in the basement of your home only to be...drug through the mud."

"Is there a reason for these accusations?" Sharon asked with a laugh.
"You a cop or something?"

"My name is Joan Ferguson."

Joan watched as Sharon's face turned to one of recognition. The woman took her time letting out the cigarette smoke she'd been holding as she looked over the taller woman.

"Is that supposed to mean something to me?"

Ah, so they were going to play this game then? Joan smiled as she reached into her coat pocket and pulled out an envelope.

"I know you know who I am." Joan replied as she slid the envelope between her fingers.

"What if I do? Husbands and wives share everything." Sharon countered.

"You won't be sharing Kerine." Joan warned, and Sharon smirked.

"My husband has an interest in her. I support his endeavors to have whatever and whomever he wants whenever he wants as long as he isn't grunting on top of me." Sharon countered.
"Consensually of course." She added, denying anything nefarious.

"So you support his affair with Lila Rose?" Joan asked.

"That little whore? Who gives a damn? We fuck who we want when we want. It's a mutually beneficial relationship." Sharon explained.

"So you are aware she just gave birth to his only son, and he's drawn up papers to divorce you then?"

Joan watched as disbelief covered the woman's face and a deep frown appeared before Sharon rolled her eyes and laughed out loud.

"Nice try, but you can't trick me, Miss Ferguson. I'm aware of your reputation."

"No trickery. This is all the proof you need." Joan tossed the envelope with the paperwork toward Sharon.
"I would read it if I were you. Damn shame you've been so loyal for so many years, and he's willing to give it all up for a younger model and a male heir. The one thing you couldn't give him."

Joan clicked her tongue as her eyes rolled over the woman.

"All those years and all that loyalty wasted so he could fuck you over in the end. All those secrets and lies you've hidden for him. Isn't anything sacred anymore?"

"What the fuck do you want for this information?" Sharon hissed as she tore open the envelope and pulled out the papers.

"Nothing." Joan replied.
"At least not at the moment. You should process everything, and decide how your husband should pay for such a betrayal. It's what I would do."

"You are aware that my husband is a very powerful man, aren't you, Miss Ferguson?" Sharon asked as she skimmed over the papers.

"And you are a very powerful woman. I trust you'll do what needs to be done to secure your future. Be completely selfish in however you make him suffer." Joan turned to go but was stopped when Sharon spoke.

"I'm serious, Joan. You need to be careful. He never loses." Sharon warned.
"He will know this is you once I speak to him."

"He is only a man." Joan replied as she turned back around.
"I've dealt with a lot of those in my time."
