Part 3 ||new job||

You did some riding around and found a Movie Rental Store named Family Video and decided to maybe try and work there. That might work. You got out of your car and walked in, being greeted by a guy with weird hair. He smiled.
"Hello, need any help?"
"Yeah, I wanted to work here."
His eyes lit up as they looked at you up and down. Oh boy. This is gonna go great. You sighed. "Listen I'm not here to get a date, I'm here to make money if you don't mind." You immediately heard loud laughter as a female voice came into view "holy shit steve you got rejected by a total badass, I like her already."
She smiled. "Hello, I'm Robin, and this dingus is Steve. You'll be able to work, just come and fill out this form."
You nodded and walked behind the counter. Steve was obviously embarrassed. You patted him on the shoulder. "Don't worry, you'll find someone." You chuckled and filled out the form. Robin smiled and laughed at Steve. "Yeah doesn't worry dingus, you'll find someone who's a total babe." Steve looked at Robin
"someone like Vicky right Robin?"
Robin seemed to physically turn red.
"Steve shut up!-" you laughed. "Well, here's the form. My name is y/n by the way." They both smiled as robin took the form and set it on the counter.
"You can start by organizing the tapes right here with me while steve works on finding and attending to babes."
Robing chuckles as Steve rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up Vicky lover."
Robin hit his arm.
—10-minute skip.—
You and robin were getting along nicely, turns out she and steve were close. She was also lesbian, which was fine with you, you were (ur sexuality) anyways. You and she were getting to know each other well. You even told her what happened with you and Eddie.
"so are you interested in him?"
"What! Why would I be? He's an asshole. Didn't you hear what he did?" Robin laughed. "Well it seems like he's sorry since he gave you his numberrrr" she dragged out the r and nudged your shoulder.
"Oh whatever robin, what about you and vickyyyyy" you dragged out the y and smiled when she blushed and went silent. "Thaaats what I thought." You told her as you stood up, walking to the front. You heard the bell ring while setting some tapes to the side. "Welcome to family video, how can I help you?-" you looked up to see Eddie and a girl. She looked pretty. She was dressed in a cheer outfit and he was in his usual outfit. You felt some kind of jealousy. Why though? You didn't even know him well. What the hell. The girl looked nervous as she walked over to the counter Eddie followed. "I- y/n?- I didn't know you worked here?-"
"just started today. What do you need?" Eddie went to say something to you but stopped himself and looked at Chrissy. "What do you want Chrissy? Whatever you wanna watch is fine with me." She slightly looked over at the romance section.
"Romance?" He slightly laughed. "Of course, you would wanna watch that.. im kidding, that's fine."
He smiled sweetly at Chrissy which made you ball your fist slightly. A pit of jealousy forms in your stomach. You muttered.
"ok. Go get it and ill check it out." You said blankly. Eddie noticed and looked at you with a concerned look. Chrissy walked over and looked for a movie. Eddie looked at you and muttered.
"listen we-" you cut him off.
"Hey, robin do we have any drinks in the mini fridge?" Robin nodded and looked in the mini fridge. "Caprisun?" You gasped, forgetting that you were jealous. "Yes yes yes please!" You giggled and she tossed it to you and you set it aside. Chrissy then walked over handing the movie to you. You checked it off and nodded at them, signaling they could leave now. With that, Chrissy walked out the door. Eddie slowly followed but looked back. He was gonna say something before he stopped and just walked out.
Robin started laughing uncontrollably
"What the fuck was that?? Are you jealous?-" you stabbed the straw in the caprisun and sipped it.
"Shut up" "nono because you were totally jealous I saw it, we both saw it!-" steve said. You huffed and sat down. "I hate you guys-"
"You love us." Steve and robin said at the same time.
—after work.—
At the end of the work day, you gathered your stuff and walked to the door. "Bye guys! See you guys tomorrow!" Robin and steve waved at you. "Make sure to call eddieeeee" robin teased and dragged out the e. with that you left.
You weren't gonna call Eddie... were you?
When you got home you got dressed into something else and sat down. Looking over at the phone you quickly stood up, searching for the small paper that contained Eddie's phone number. When you found it a smile appeared on your face and you walked to the phone. It was 5:30. You grabbed the phone and slowly typed the numbers in. After you pressed the call. It rang. And rang. Suddenly you heard a voice on the other end.
"Hello?" You smiled as you heard eddies voice. "Hi.." Eddie verbally gasped quietly. "Y/n!- hi- i- I didn't think you were gonna call sorry-"
you smiled slightly "don't worry it's fine. I just wanted to call to ask what time dnd was?" He laughed. "Y/n, it starts at 6." You looked at the clock and gasped. It was 5:35 "shit shit shit- I still need to get ready!!-" he started laughing. "Y/n go get ready!!" You started laughing. "Okay okay!- bye Eddie!- see you soon" "bye sweets." With that, you hung up and got ready. It took you 10 minutes to get fully ready. It was then 5:45 it took you 15 minutes to get to school, it would be 6 when you got there. You hoped you wouldn't be late. And with that. You left.
