Part one
Back in high school, there was this boy by the name of John. He was always quiet, he has never said any words, kids at school used to mock him, they used to say he was dumb and deaf. Teachers could call him stupid. According to me, he wasn't stupid or dumb, he was calm and collected. I guess we all have different characteristics, everyone behaves weirdly on their own. John was only excelling in mathematics, he could get one hundred percent of the total of hundred over hundred. The mathematical teacher was so modest and cool. She was getting along with John, I think she understood his personality and unstable threads. To be honest, I wasn't doing well in mathematics, I was getting the lower mask, I needed any assistance, and I was struggling, however, I didn't know how to approach him. It was hard to approach someone like him. Because he has never said any words, since from term one until the end of the year. Boys could greet him, nonetheless, he could keep quiet, I probably think he had low self-esteem because most of the time he was always staring down. I swear something was wrong with him, he wasn't normal, I had this friend of mine by the name of Precious. She was talkative and flying over high heels. Sometimes we could discuss him on our way to school, she could laugh at me and say I love him. She could mock me the whole week, the other day it was during the break time, I can say we used to eat at school. Our school could offer us soft porridge in the morning, and later on bread or pap, even rice sometimes. I noticed that John couldn't get food, he was late, and the food ran out.
