With TIT you only have one alter, two people in total, you and Shane. and sometimes they even form into one. It's a very serious condition that can harm the person coping with TIT
But with DID there is tons, some might have different genders and personalities, some might be not as different as others, some might be different, some might want to "kill" the main person others might not it all depends on the person with DID.
