Finally home at the compound

When Clint landed the jet, the first thing he did was turn in his seat and grin at the both of you, as though he knew something you didn't.
"What?" you asked softly.
"Just wait for it" he went and opened the back, and you saw the whole team was standing there on the tarmac waiting expectantly, along with Happy and Pepper. Bucky helped you get unstrapped and you both went to grab the suitcase at the same time.
"I got this doll" Bucky shook his head at you.
"I got this" Clint picked up your rosebush. You grabbed Alpine, and Daisy followed you out.
"Look at you two!" Maria ran over and pulled you into a tight hug. "Wow" she stood back and looked down at your stomach, pressing her hand against it. "That's a surprise" she grinned.
"I can't fit in my jeans anymore" you pouted and she pulled you into another hug.
"My poor babe" she cooed to you and you pulled back laughing.
"Don't be mean" you pouted.
"I wanted to come see you yesterday, but your dad was pretty mad about that guy lunging at you" she admitted softly. "I missed you" she gave you a kiss on the cheek.
"Hey, you can't keep her all to yourself" Sam came over and gave you a hug, shortly followed by the rest. They also went to Bucky and pulled him into a hug as well.
"We set up a little welcome home party for you guys" Tony let you know as he hugged you briefly.
"It's all mainly peach flavored things, since Pepper can't have strawberries" Bruce whispered to you. "Welcome home Sunshine"
"Thank you" you gave a smile.
"Come here Kitten, I need to see you for a spell" Loki held out his hand.
"I'm supposed to have morning sickness, Loki" you reminded him.
"Let me help in the few ways that I can. We've been watching you on camera" he admitted gently. "Please" he added, which was unlike him. You nodded and walked to him and he put a hand over your baby bump and muttered a few words. "Interesting" he looked at you with a smile.
"What is it?" you asked quickly.
"They are both the size of a normal baby, not the normal size for twins. They are larger. You'll be having big babies" he let you know immediately and you froze up a little. "Super Soldiers I believe, likely enhanced with your water and ice powers"
"I can check for that" Bruce seemed intrigued.
"Can we eat first?" you asked timidly. "Maybe rest a little bit?"
"Whatever you need to do" Tony spoke up.
"I'm excited for the tea party" Wanda squealed. "It looked like a lot of fun"
"A what?" Thor asked softly.
"We are all headed back to their mission house, well, their neighbors house for a tea party. The gentlemen get to drink ale, however I feel my tastes will be with the ladies" Loki advised quickly.
"When is this?" Pepper asked, pulling up her schedule.
"Saturday, I was going to ask first" you fidgeted a little bit.
"Sounds like fun, I saw that jerk having a good time at it" Steve grinned at Bucky.
"Listen Punk, don't embarrass me. The dames all thought you have a great ass" Bucky chuckled.
"Except for Penelope, she thought Sam was pretty fine" you added in.
"Sam's taken" Maria let you know quickly and started leading you back into the compound. It felt weird to be home, and calling it that. You missed your little house already.
"Something wrong?" Maria asked gently as she led you to the dining room where the table was overflowing with food, and the room smelled like peaches.
"It's weird to be back" you whispered to her. "I got used to calling that house, home. I liked it"
"You? A domesticated housewife?" she looked at you incredulously.
"I know, I didn't see it coming either" you shook your head with a slight smile.

"The woman who went crazy when she couldn't go for a run or on missions when she was down for the count with an infection and a fever?" Maria reminded you.
"That was forever ago" you sighed. "A lot has happened since then"
"Clearly" Maria giggled, looking down at your belly.

"It's not that big yet" you blushed.
"Your dress is a little tight there babe" she teased and you had to look away. You went to the table, and grabbed a plate before starting to fill it up with different baked goods, and just plain old peach slices. Bucky appeared a few minutes later and grabbed a plate and grabbed similar foods before he put his hand into the small of your back, and led you to your normal seat. He pulled out the chair and waited patiently for you to sit down before he pushed you back in and sat down beside you. He passed you a bottle of water with a smirk on his face and you gratefully took a sip.
"Do we have any nutella?" you asked hopefully as everyone was finally seated.
"Is this another craving?" Tony looked pointedly at Bucky who just smiled and nodded.
"Fascinating" Bruce started typing into his phone. "So Strawberries, peaches, baked fruit goods, whipped cream, and nutella?" he asked for confirmation.
"Cupcakes" Bucky looked over. "She loves strawberry flavored cupcakes"
"We've been recording everything we noticed on the camera's for the pregnancy" Nat grinned over at you. "Bruce is excited, since you are enhanced, and Bucky is technically enhanced"
"Can I run some tests?" Bruce asked quickly.
"We were going to ask you to anyways" you nodded. "I need to start making appointments with a gynecologist and prenatal doctor"
"We already have that covered, Doctor Joy is both so we don't have to worry about you leaving the compound too much. We are also taking you off missions, you'll be helping in the lab after this week" Tony spoke up.
"I'll get the Nutella" Happy stood up and went into the kitchen. He came back a moment later and handed you a jar with a knife.
"Let me go make it like you like it" Bucky took it gently from you and you blushed a bit. He went into the kitchen and you could hear him warming it up in the microwave. You took a bite of one of the peach cupcakes and moaned audibly.
"Peach cupcakes" Bruce started typing on his phone.
"Bucky, baby, you need to try these" you called to him as he came back in the room. He placed a bowl of warm nutella in front of you, and you put the other half of your cupcake in his mouth and he grinned in spite of himself and ate it.
"It's pretty good" he sat down next to you again. You started dipping your peach slices in the nutella and eating it happily.
"Yeah, it's not any less weird when it's not on camera" Peter spoke up.
"Don't knock it till you try it" you winked at him. "How's school been?"
"Good, Pietro enrolled at the same university so we are taking the same classes together" Peter grinned.
"Lots of pretty girls there" Pietro grinned happily and raised his brows up and down.
"You both get to settle in for today, but tomorrow we need you to start working on your reports" Steve let you know gently.
"As long as I can get out shopping before Friday" you nodded. "I don't know if any of my old clothes are going to fit" you looked down at your stomach straining against the material of your dress. "I shouldn't eat so much"
"You need to, the babies are growing very quickly darling" Loki spoke softly.
"She looks almost eighteen weeks pregnant, when she's really only twelve weeks" Bruce looked to Nat with a whisper.
"It feels like it happened overnight" you looked at him with a small smile.
"I for one love it" Bucky grinned happily, taking another cupcake and putting it in your plate before taking one for himself.
"We have filled your living room with bridal books and magazines" Maria warned you.
"Maria also moved in with me" Sam said proudly. "So she will be over, and making sure you are going through them"
"That's amazing news" you cooed to Maria and she grinned happily.
"It's a bit of a commute, but it's worth it. We were both having a hard time trying to find time to see each other between missions and going back to our own places, it only made sense" Maria smirked while looking over at Sam.

"I'm so happy for you" you smiled happily to Maria and Sam. You took another bite of your cupcake and leaned your head on Bucky's shoulder happily. "Are you happy to be home?" Vision asked softly. "I'm going to miss my rose garden, and our little house" you admitted gently. "But I'm happy to be back" "We are putting in a rose garden for you" Pepper smiled. "Tony's idea, since Bucky said you would miss it" "Are we sure she's only 12 weeks along?" Bruce asked suddenly, still looking at your stomach. "You're the one who's been keeping track, Bruce" Nat smiled at him. "You're rarely wrong about anything" "I can't wait to do some tests" he mused to himself. You continued to eat until you were completely full. Bucky helped you with the last of your plate since you didn't want anything to go to waste. You were almost falling asleep, feeling tired from today's events. You didn't normally nap during the day, but today was exceptionally exhausting. "You should go lay down for a bit" Wanda gave a serene smile. "We will wake you for supper" "I don't want to go anywhere without my Bucky bear" you pouted. "I'm tired too, let's go take a nap" Bucky stood up and pulled out your chair. "We will get your dishes" Steve gave a smile. "It's good to have you two home" "Do you think I'll still fit in my swimsuit?" you looked at Bucky in a whisper. "Well let's go find out doll" he grinned and picked you up off of your feet, getting a yelp out of you. "Let me get my doll to bed, in our new suite" he winked. "And I can put on my old jewelry and new ring?" you asked as he started walking towards your bedroom. "I'll put it on you myself" he promised, giving you a kiss on the forehead.
