Lady Elizabeth Plea For Lady Samhain
They were sisters and best of friends, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane and Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene Howard and they were born 16 months apart from each other to Lord Andrew Charles Howard, Duke of Norfolk Territory and his Duchess, Lady Karissa, Marchioness of Pembroke Territory.
The two were different from day and night, one was blonde and one was brunette and one resembled her mother and one resembled her father.
One would become the Duchess of Norfolk Territory in good time and the other was created Duchess of Clarence Territory upon her birth.
Despite their differences they were very close and they shared the most intimate of secrets with each other.
So, when it came time for Lady Samhain to ask her eldest sister for help in convincing their father and mother to allow to marry in June of 2294, rather than June of 2295, Lady Elizabeth told her sister "Leave it up to me, Lady Samhain."
"Lord Richard Edward II gave his consent for Lord Richard Edward Howard III to marry me in June of 2294 rather than June of 2295." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"Lady Elizabeth. They think Lord David William III and I are too young to marry each other." Lady Samhain explains.
"Our mother was 19 years old when she married our father and she turned 20 years old after I was born." Lady Elizabeth states.
"Mom was only 21 years old when she had you, and she had just turned 25 years old when she had Lord Anthony, and she was only 27 when she had Lady Caroline Matilda, 30 when she had Lord Albert Edward, and she was 34 when she Lord Benjamin Lawrence and she was not quite 40 when she Lady Sophia Charlotte and I am pretty sure that our uncle, Lord Charles Andrew III and mom will have their final child." Lady Elizabeth states.
"Lord David William II and I will wait to have our first child. We want to get settled in Clarence Territory." Lady Samhain explains.
"I want to marry Lord Richard Edward III and I can hardly wait for us to make love to each other." Lady Elizabeth tells her sister.
"Much depends upon Lord Richard Edward III and I to give our grandfather his very first great-grandchild before our dear grandpa dies" Lady Elizabeth tells her sister.
"You are lucky, Lady Samhain. There is no pressure on Lord David William II and you to give Norfolk and Essex an heir or heiress." Lady Elizabeth explains.
"I expect Lord Anthony will feel the same pressure I feel when he marries." Lady Elizabeth tells her sister.
"Lord Anthony is only eleven years old, Lady Bess." Lady Samhain tells her sister.
"Aristocrats like us marry young." Lady Elizabeth states.
"Have you noticed how well Lord Richard Edward III is endowed?" Lady Elizabeth asks.
"I don't notice those kinds of things on a gentleman." Lady Samhain tells her sister.
"Lord Richard Edward III is well endowed."Lady Elizabeth tells her sister "Don't you think he is the most handsome young man that you have ever seen?"
"I must admit our cousin is very handsome, but not as handsome as Lord David William Beck II." Lady Samhain tells her sister.
"I heard our mother tell our father that the two most handsome men on Star Base 12 was Lord David William Beck and our father." Lady Samhain tells her sister.
"I sure hope our third cousin, Lord Richard William Carey doesn't place this kind of pressure on our sister, Lady Caroline Matilda." Lady Elizabeth tells her sister.
"Lady Caroline Matilda is only 8 years old and Lord Richard William Carey is nothing like our father." Lady Samhain explains.
"I wish our father was like Lord Richard William Carey." Lady Elizabeth admits.
"How many times have we actually seen our father?" Lady Elizabeth asks.
"I don't know, Lady Elizabeth. Our father's visits to the nursery are rare." Lady Samhain admits.
"Lord Anthony asked me why our father doesn't visit him in the nursery. I just tell Lord Albert Edward and Lord Anthony that our father is busy.' Lady Elizabeth explains.
"Lord Benjamin Lawrence sees his father more than our brothers see our father." Lady Samhain states.
"Lord Richard William Carey loves his children, but I wonder if our father ever loved us." Lady Elizabeth asks.
"I believe he loves in his own way."Lady Samhain states.
"I will never place my marriage and children in front of governing Norfolk Territory." Lady Elizabeth tells her sister " It isn't that important to me."
"I am heiress by birth but if I pass it will go to you." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"Oh no! Lady Elizabeth. I have my own territory to govern." Lady Samhain tells her " So does Lord Anthony, Lord Albert Edward, Lady Anastasia Christina, Lord Benjamin Lawrence, Lady Sophia Dorothea." Lady Samhain tells her.
"I am afraid you are stuck with the responsibility of becoming Duchess of Norfolk Territory." Lady Samhain states.
"Lady Caroline Matilda in time will succeed Lord Richard William." Lady Samhain tells her
"Why can't they give it to Lord Charles Andrew Howard IV?" Lady Elizabeth asks " He is the great-grandson of our grandfather's oldest son."Lady Elizabeth asks.
"They could give it to Lord David Frederick Howard, who is also the great-grandson of our grandfather through his second son," Lady Elizabeth tells her sister.
"Lord Charles Andrew IV is Duke of St. Alban Territory and Lord David Frederick Howard is Duke of Albany Territory." Lady Samhain tells her.
"Our father has sisters who had children before we were born." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"Our first cousin, Lord Ralph Neville JR was born in 2255." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"Our cousin, Lord David Frederick Stafford II was born in 2265." Lady Elizabeth tells her sister.
"Lady Elizabeth. Lord Ralph will inherit The Earldom of Westmoreland Territory and Lord David Frederick Stafford II will inherit Buckingham Territory." Lady Samhain states.
"They have sisters." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"Lady Bess. Put it to mom and dad." Lady Samhain tells her.
"I will get the same old story, Lady Samhain." Lady Elizabeth " I was born to govern Norfolk Territory."

Lady Elizabeth with Lady Samhain approaches their father and mother and Lady Elizabeth asks her father and mother " Come on father and mother, please allow Lady Samhain to marry in June of 2294 rather than June of 2295."
"We can have a double wedding." Lady Elizabeth states "It will save you money."
"I am not worried about the cost of marrying either of you. It's a matter of maturity." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Father. Our grandfather told me that aristocrats marry early." Lady Elizabeth explains.
'I don't know about that as both of your uncles were 20 years old and their wives were 18 years old." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"I was 24 years old when I married your dear mother and she was not even 19 year old." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"I sure hope Lord Richard Edward III and you haven't been doing what I think you are implying." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Elizabeth.
"No, father. We have not been doing what you are thinking.' Lady Elizabeth tells him.
"Please father and mother. Let Lady Samhain and Lord David William Beck II marry when Lord Richard Edward Howard III and I marry each other in June of 2294." Lady Elizabeth asks.
Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa and he asks "What do you think Karissa?"
"I am fine with it, Andrew Charles and it will make your father very happy." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Alright, Lady Samhain. Lord David William Beck II and you may marry at the same time as Lady Elizabeth and Lord Richard Edward Howard III." Lord Andrew Charles tells his daughters.
Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain start to dance around the drawing room in front of their father and mother and while they are Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR walks in and he asks "What is all the excitement?"
"Grandpa. Lady Samhain and I are to be married in June of 2294 together." Lady Elizabeth tells her grandfather.
"Praise to Odin and Freda. It is about time this family is reunited." Lord Charles Andrew JR states " I will never forgive my father for dividing it as his own father divided it."
Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR smiles at his two granddaughters and he embraces them and he tells them " My great-grandnephew and grand-nephew and my two granddaughters will unite our family into one family."
Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane and Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene Howard will both be married on June 21, 2294.
Lady Samhain asks her third cousin, Lord Richard William Carey to escort her up the aisle as he did to her mother in 2275 and of course Lord Richard William Carey is delighted to escort his favorite third cousin up the aisle.
