Bad Habits (ON HOLD)

Chpapter 4

Today is Friday finally.

I wake up with a big smile, and decide to wear something cute. I go in my closet and pick out a cute jumpsuit. I curl my hair and add rings to compliment this outfit. Then I get my heels and head down stairs.

"Well aren't you feeling cute today?"
My mom mentions as she places my plate on the place mat.

"In deed I am. You know I love Fridays." I mimic.

"Yea I can see, now hurry and eat."

I pull out a chair and sit down. My little brother comes out of no where and spills juice all over me.

"What the fu-"

"Destiny!" My mom yells. She cuts me off and continues "Don't tell him anything. I'll handle him, go change."

"Oh my gosh your so dead Erik!" I start chasing him around the house, until my dad comes in front of me.

"What is going on here!" He says.

"Erik, spilled juice all over me! I'm so going to-"

"Destiny stop!" He yells.

"Dad are you serious! I woke up at 5 to look like this!?"

My dad looks at my hair and then my outfit which had juice all over.

"Okay okay... We will buy you a new one. Problem solved now go change or you'll be late"

"But dad-"

He adds, "NOW. Destiny!"

I groan and storm off up to my room. I give my brother the 'YOU ARE SO DEAD' look as I make my way up the stairs. I can see he looks frightened, good.

I go to the bathroom and give my body a quick rinse. I get out and change quickly. Now I just out on a flannel and some jeans, with converse.

Lunch Time

"Wow Destiny, you look pretty mad." Mickey says.

"That's cause I am.... My stupid little brother spilled juice all over me in the morning."

"And you probably had a cute outfit huh girl?"

"You already know." We both start laughing.

We go to our same usual table and the test are already there. I got used to them, sorta.

"Hey you guys want to go out and eat?" Mike says.

"Oh man I can't go. I have to makeup a test" Crystal says sadly.

"That sucks....what about you guys?" He recalls.

"Yea" we all say.

"Alright then. But where should we go and eat?"

"Ooo! I know this really good place" I suggest.

"Is it far?"

"No, only like 10 Minutes away."

"Alright then let's go."

Mike sits in the drivers seat, Yessenia in passengers seat. Vanessa, Elias and me are in the back. I'm in between them both.

Yessenia and Mike are talking, Vanessa is on her phone and Elias and me are just quiet.

"So, Destiny you never said where you were from?" Elias questions, breaking the awkward silence.

"Oh I'm from Texas" I reply.

"Did you like it there?"

"Yes!! I Loved it there. I miss my old life so much over there!" I admit.

"Oh,...... don't you like it here?"

"I do! Don't get me wrong, but it's just that I was so used to EVRYTHING and everyone in Texas you know?"

"True, but I'm sure time is what you need to like California!" He says, with a big smile.

"Yea hopefully."

"Maybe someday we can go to the beach and I'll show you around a few places you'll love."

"Yea, that would be great Elias."

Vanessa then joins in the conversation and says, "Can I come?"

"Yea sure, it will be so much fun right Elias?"

"Uhm I don't know maybe we can-"

"Ooo! Can we come" Yessenia asks, cutting off Elias.

"Duhhh!" I respond.

We all start talking about it and we say it will be a road trip. How cool! I've always wanted to do one of those.

"Oh guys we are finally here." Mike states.

"Yes finally! Time to eat!" Says Yessenia getting out the car and running toward the fast food place.
