I stared at your reply
A word that's cold as ice

Never thought you'd do that,
Never thought you'd say-

I forgot, this is just temporary
You just want to play

I thought you're really my poetry
Seems like you've quit already

You're now part of my past,

Though you left me, I lost nothing at all
I kept my heart at lock
I hid it from you, out of your reach, and now you stopped,

I'm glad you finally realized that you're worth more
More than a night with me, more than the girl you see

I'm not sad at all
I'm happy you've come to your senses
Now, the guy I once wrote a poem for
Is now a part of the memories I'll store.
