Eilidh walks among the roses, wearing the Silky red dress Lumiere left out for her.

What is this heart-crushing, gut wrenching feeling that she has? Who knows.

Taking a step towards the fountain, she looks at herself in the water's surface. Sure, she may be pretty in society's standards, but why would Lumiere ever choose her? He was a perfect candlestick and she was just an imperfect human. Dipping her hands in the pure flowing water, she moved them to wash her face, but before the water could touch her face, she toppled forwards, about to hit the edge of the fountain.

A pair of hands reached out to catch her, and She let out a sigh of relief.

"T-thank you so much for helping me! I would love to-"

Her words were cut off when she turned around to see the beast standing there, glaring at her menacingly.

"What are you doing in my rose garden?"

"N-Nothing!! I just love roses so much that I wanted to come and look at them...Yours are especially beautiful."

"Liar. You want to steal my roses don't you? You want to sell them, or destroy them. Why can't anybody appreciate a good rose these days?!!"

"N-n-no....I swear I..."

She could taste the Hot, salty tears starting to streak down her face.

Suddenly, A dark look appeared in the beast's eyes. He almost looked scared. She turned behind her to see....Lumiere?! He had a look of pure rage on his face as he glared at the beast.

"Leave her be Adam. She is no thief." He spat. "This woman is an ange radieux. Never speak to her like that again."

The beast let out a low roar, and with that, he sullenly skulked away.

"Are you alright, mon cheri?" Lumiere asked.

"T-Thank you so much Lumi!!!" Eilidh rushed towards Lumiere with a grateful smile. "You saved me from that scary beast!"

Lumiere looked on, his smooth, waxy face slowly turning red.
