Fresh Start

Day 1 (cont.)

The blond boy looked up at me giving me a smirk. I can tell he knows how embarrassing our interaction this morning was for me by the evil smirk he is flashing me.

The other two boys smile at me and they seem a lot nicer than him.

"Hi guys, this is Mia she is gonna hang with us." Calum said gesturing towards me.

I just smile and shyly wave. The blond boy scoffs,

"Does it talk." He says.

It!? He referred to me as it? I ignore his comment.

"Shut the fuck up Luke." Calum says.

"Mia these are my friends; Ashton, Michael, and Luke." He says pointing to each of them.

Ashton and Michael both smile and wave and Luke just sits there ignoring my presence.

I sit across from Ashton and Calum sits down next to me. Luke gets up and looks to Michael.

"Let's go get food." He says and Michael gets up and follows Luke like a lost puppy. I can literally feel the tension lift as Luke leaves.

"Are you hungry?" Calum asks me breaking the silence.

"No I'm good." I smile.

"Wait you're American?" Ashton says surprised.

"Yeah I moved here from California." I say laughing.

"Why would you leave Cali to come here?" Ashton says confused.

"My dad had to move here for work." I relax a little noticing Ashton is nice regardless his intimidating look.

"Oh I'm so sorry." He says. "Why?"

"Because it's so god damn boring here." Ashton says and Calum laughs joining the conversation.

"He is right there is literally nothing to do but go to the mall." We all laugh together as Luke and Michael sit back down at the table.

The tension is back again as Luke watches my every move. Why is he staring at me?

"So what's your deal?" Michael asks sitting down.

His question took me by surprise but thankfully Ashton speaks for me.

"She's from Cali." Luke glares at Ashton.

"What?" Ashton says to Luke.

"She can speak for herself." Ashton is as surprised as I am but ignores him. Why does he care if Ashton speaks for me? He just referred to me as it before.

"So you're American?" Michael says.

"Yea I had to move here for my dad's work." I say.

"That sucks." I give him a confused look. "Oh I didn't mean it like that I mean like it sucks you had to leave Cali cuz it's so boring here." He reassures me.

"So I've heard Calum says all you guys do is go to the mall."

"Yea we go there to meet girls to fuck." He says casually.

I gasp loudly and they all laugh except Luke who is still watching me intently.

"What? That's all there is to do." Ashton says still laughing.

"So you just find girls and they have sex with you?" I ask with a surprised look on my face.

"Yea why are you so surprised?" Michael asks.

"It's obvious." Luke speaks up. Everyone looks towards him.

"She is a freshie she's never been fucked." He says.
