Silas POV

I'm still nervous as my new dad walks towards the door. That's a lot of kids. Are they all on the other side of that door? Will they be like the kids in the orphanage?

"Bub?" Lee says pulling my sleeve.

"It will be okay." I tell her hoping it is true.

Dad opens the door and five boys come running in yelling random things in some strange language neither Lee or I understand. One of them comes over and grabs my arms with a big smile.

"Ktea uory dahns fof ym bub uoy kcco kugsicn tfaurcdk!!" Lee yells in her gibberish. She kicks the boy in the shin making him let go and back away.

"I saw tjsu ngoan vige imh a ghu!" The boy argues.

Charlie POV

"I was just gonna give him a hug!" Paul argues rubbing his leg.

"Dude she told you off! That girl has the mouth of a sailor!" Theo laughs. Before speaking to Lee who looks stunned.

"Wait you can understand her?" Avery asks.

"Yea, took a foreign language in high-school. Aced the class." He smiles.

"What did you say?" I ask and he shrugs.

"I may have given her props for her creative use of certain words that you would whip my behind for using." He says shocking me. Where does a six year old get that kind of language?

"You should tell her that she shouldn't use foul language instead of encouraging it." I suggest.

"Fine." He groans before talking to our girl again. Silas says something then starts to laugh. We all look to Theo who shrugs.

"Don't know that language." He says and all the other boys look clueless as well. "Wait I'll ask Leanne."

"Lee!" Silas argues making everyone chuckle. I guess none of us can use her full name. After speaking to Lee, Theo starts busting up laughing.

"It's about you Levi. He said it looks like your head is on fire... apparently our baby brother has never seen a ginger before." Theo says making all the boys chuckle.

Silas POV

They are laughing at me. It's gonna be just like before... maybe they will be nice to Lee though. Lee is all that matters. I back away and Lee yells at them again causing them all to look at me. Crap!

"Rsryo tiltel tbhorre. Ew ranet aluhgnig ta uoy... ew lal aluhg ta viel's aihr." One of the guys says.

"Elst etriocndu uoesrvlse." The fire head says. "Levi." He points to himself... oh names again. "Theo." He points to the brunette boy that can talk to Lee. "Paul." The one who tried to hug me. (Lee said thats what he wanted.) Another brunette but he looks older than the other boy. "Avery" He points to a guy with blond hair that looks to be the youngest. "Jay." He finishes with the oldest looking boy who has yet to speak.

I nod in understanding.

"Levi?" I say pointing to his hair and he smiles crouching down to my level.

"Ehy Silas?... uoy awtn ot uothc ti?" He asks tilting his head. When I don't move he slowly takes my hand and puts it on his head. It's not like fire but still neat. I've never seen hair like that.

"Soft." I say before laughing. Maybe they aren't being mean.

"Arilthg osyb, ew ondt nawt ot vrwhleoem hetm. Aedh ot bde. Ew vahe a onlg ghfilt ni het onrnmig." Dad speaks to the boys who all give us smiles before going back to the other room.

"Hety dsia uoy owt klei ot esepl geotehrt. Uoy acn vhae hist edb." Dad says pointing at a bed. He smiles at us. I'm guessing he's saying for us to go to bed? I'm glad they are letting us stay together. As strong as Lee is she gets nightmares and will end up crawling into my bed no matter where she falls asleep.

I take Lee's hand and walk over to the bed once I sit down she is quick to help me with my shoes. She knows that it can be hard on me sometimes, like if they get stuck, so she just automatically takes them off for me so we don't risk me getting out of breath.

As soon as I am in bed Lee throws her shoes off and climbs in next to me cuddling to my side.

"Goodnight Bub." She whispers before closing her eyes.

"Night Lee."

"Ngodigoth Silas. Ngodigoth Lee." Mom says kissing our heads. I guess she is saying goodnight.

"Goodnight uspp." Dad adds. Not sure what he called us but I'm getting some words.

"Goodnight." I repeat the word they keep saying to us and both of them smile at me before I close my eyes.

Charlie POV

He spoke! In our language! He said names before but he actually understood we were saying Goodnight and said it back! I'm so happy. I knew going into this they didn't speak our language but experiencing the language barrier is different than just knowing.

"I set an appointment for him to see a doctor a couple days after we get back and already sent his medical history ahead of us." Jack says as we watch the pups drift off to sleep.

"Have you told the Alpha yet?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"I didn't want to risk him saying no. Sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than permission... he's my cousin. He can't get too mad at me. One human kid can't endanger the pack too much." He answers.

"Do you think he will be mad? Or do something..."

"Charlotte." Jack says my full name cutting me off. "No matter what happens Silas is our son now and Leanne is our daughter. I don't think Scott will do anything major, we are still family, but no matter what happens we will figure it out. Trust me."

"Okay." I agree. "Let's get to bed. We have to be up early."
