It's been a few weeks since I have seen or talked to Spencer. I hope he's alright. I walk into school and see my friends Maddie and Serena. Maddie gave me a big hug and smiled. We began talking about the night I met Spencer and I started blushing. My phone begins to ring and I look at the caller ID. I didn't recognize the number so I answered.

                 "Hello," I ask.

"Hi Carrie. It...It's Spencer," he says.

I smile and say, "Hey Spence. I haven't heard anything from you so I started getting worried."

Spencer says apologetically, "I'm so sorry. My job took me away for a couple of days. Anyway, I have something for you. Turn around and look outside."

I turn around and see Spencer standing outside waving. I smile and hang up the phone. I walk towards the door until Brian grabs my arm.

"Carrie, can we talk? I want another chance to go out with you," Brian says.

I yank my arm away from him. I roll my eyes and walk outside to Spencer. Spencer smiles at me and gives me a hug.

I smile and say, "What are you doing here? How did you know I went here?"

Spencer shrugs and smiles, "I took a lucky guess."

I smile as Spencer hands me a box that's wrapped up. I look at him and he just smiles. I hear the bell ring and sigh.

"I have to go. I'll talk to you later," I say, then I kiss his cheek and go inside.

I open the box on the way to my first period class and it was the book that caused Spencer and I to meet that night. I smiled and walked into class. Brian walked up to my desk and grabbed the book off from my hands.

"Did that guy give this to you?" He asked, angrily. I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"Brian please give it back. That's not yours." I said.

Brian threw the book and it hit me in the face. I held my face and ran into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw it was starting to bruise. She was glad there was only a month left of school then she would never have to see Brian again. She felt tears roll down her face as they began to sting when the bruise was forming. She texted Spencer asking him to pick her up after school. He quickly texted back that he would so that made her feel a little better. She went back to class and watched as time started dragging. Soon it was last period and she was begging to pack up her stuff. She heard the bell ring and she bolted out the door. She walked outside and saw Spencer standing there. She walked over to him and hugged him.

"What happened to your face? There's a huge bruise." He said as I began to explain. He hugged me again but let go when he heard someone yelling.

"Get your hands off of her!" Brian yelled. He walked towards him and I shoved him.

"Leave him alone. You had your chance and you blew me off." I said to him.

Brian went to hit Spencer but he took out what I thought was his wallet. "I wouldn't hit me unless you want to be charged with assault on a federal agent." Spencer said.

Oh my God. He's an FBI agent. Spencer looked at me and he saw how shocked I was.
