Chapter Two

Beep beep beep beep

I went to shut my alarm off when I couldn't move.

My eyes quickly shot open and I saw I was in a hospital. No this can't be happening

I saw my mom crying in a corner with my aunt comforting her.

"Mom?" I croaked out, "Aunt Jenna?"

Their heads whipped towards me, startled I had woken up.

"Hey baby," my mom walked over to me. "Once you're all cleared to leave, you're gonna go stay at Aunt Jenna's for the summer ok? I love you but this is too much." That was all she said. An then she walked out. Just like me dad did. They both just walked out of my life. I started to cry and aunt Jenna came over to comfort me.

"I know this is hard Madi. I know but you're a strong independent girl ok? and you're not gonna just give you're life up like this. I swear I'll take care of you and give you the best life you can have."

And that's just what she did.
