"Wanna watch a movie?" Niall asked you. You shook your head. "Order a pizza?" He asked. You shook your head again. "Wanna talk?" He asked. Instead of being strong or even replying, you just burst out in tears. Your jerk boyfriend had just dumped you after cheating on you, and your roommate/best friend Niall was trying super hard to cheer you up. Nothing was working.

"Don't cry! Please, don't cry over him. He's not worth it, baby." Niall copes to you. You snapped your head up.

"Did you... Did you just call me baby?" You asked Niall. He usually just called you by your name, never by a nickname. Especially not by baby. You felt his cheeks heat up.

"Erm, well... Assuming I had called you baby, would that be a bad thing?" He asked, handing you a tissue as you continued to sniffle. You thought about his question for a moment. He ran a hand through his styled blond hair.

"No, actually. I don't think it would be a bad thing at all." You told him, a small smile playing at your lips. Before anyone could say another word, the two of you were leaning into each other.

Your lips touched, and fireworks went off in your mind. You'd never had this feeling with anyone. The kiss deepened and you were shocked to find yourself utterly care free, not self conscious at all. Niall entwined his fingers in your long hair and pressed your face closer to his. Finally, you came up for air.

"That was the best kiss of my life." N admitted, looking deeply into your eyes. You grinned at him.

"Mine too, baby." You said, smiling at the name that was sure to become the two of your inside joke. He wrapped you into a tight hug then.

"I told you, K. He's not worth it. I am." He mumbled into your hair. You snuggled into his neck.

"You're damn right you're worth it." You whispered.
