Chapter 3: Battle? Destruction. Death.
3rd Person Pov-
"Crystal ice mirrors!"
Haku announces as he glides around the young Uchiha.
Sasuke pulled out a kunai ready to attack.
"Hey, Sasuke!" Naruto whisper-yelled. "Can you believe I managed to sneak in here undetected?"
Sasuke jumped back in surprise before face-palming. This idiot.
"Making such a conspicuous entrance. There's no point if you don't catch the enemy off guard," Sasuke sighed.

After continuous fighting on the losing end, Naruto began to grow restless as Sasuke got annoyed when his fire did not melt the ice.
"Shadow clone Jutsu!"
"It's useless," Naruto observed in disappointment.
"Quit wasting your chakra, I can't take care of you if you're passed out," Sasuke warned in slight concern.
"I know! I'm totally fine~ Just a little sleepy-" With that Naruto fell face first, passed out.
Shit. Sasuke cursed and skid on his knees (like the clowns do in Knotts Scary Farm before they chase you across the park for no reason at all>: ...) to Naruto. He carefully picked up his limp body and dropped it gently.
Dumbass, what'd I tell you?
Sasuke narrowed his eyes and deflected a few kunai aimed at Naruto. He got up quickly and stood above him in a protective stance.
He scanned the area with his Sharingan activated, waiting for the right moment to strike. When Haku appeared, Sasuke threw his kunai, barely missing Haku, who had already vanished into a mirror. Haku hurled another set of senbon needles at Sasuke, causing him to tumble and dodge out of the way. He dashed over to Naruto, picked him up, and threw him out of the way. Before attacking Naruto, Haku looks at them both, ready. Sasuke sees this coming and drops in front of a herd of needles. He coughs up blood and collapses on his knees. As his Sharingan deactivates, his breath becomes short.
Naruto woke up with a gasp and looked around. He jumped up happily.
"Sasuke, you did it! Sasuke.. W-what?" Naruto lowers his hands in shock.
"You... Idiot," Sasuke managed a slight smile.
Naruto began to tear up, "You... You protected me?" His voice wavers a bit. "Why?- Why would you do that?" Naruto sniffed.
Sasuke feels himself on the verge of death. With the way he feels he allows himself to succumb to an emotional walk down memory lane. Every battle, every talk, everything he and Naruto went through comes flooding through his head. His eyes widened after seeing all of it.
