I admired you from afar,
as you shone so bright like a star
in a crowded room
and I watched you bloom,
into the girl you wished to be.You took up the shape of the key
to my heart, believing that nothing
could keep us apart.I showed you the poems I wrote,
without knowing they were all
meant for you.You were the glue that
kept my heart whole.
And whenever I was sad,
you were always there to consoleI tried so hard to avoid,
those eyes that were
as dark as coal.
And those fingers that fits so well
against my ownI wish I could make my feelings known,
as I can't bare to see you
look at me as an ally.
For my feelings are anything,
but platonic.- unrequited love
