A couple days pass and Genesis is still glaring daggers at me. But on the bright side, her and the other girls had to get fried liver. It was hilarious. Alexa, James, Devon, Rose, and I had to leave the room because we couldn't hold in our laughter. The funniest to watch was Sabrina and Genesis. They would plaster a smile on their face and then eat the fried liver. I don't think I'd eat fried liver if my life depended on it.
Today, I'm sitting in the Eating Room eating peaches...even though I don't like peaches. I'm not exactly sure why I'm eating them. I slowly push my plate of peaches away from me and wait. Daxton told me someone was supposed to make some type of announcement. Sipping on my milk, I listen to James and Alexa's conversation.
"I think we should get a kitchenette in our suite," she says.
"We have experienced chefs to make our food for us," he argues.
"But I think I should at least learn how to cook," she protests.
"Do you want me to die?" James asks and she slaps his arm.
"My cooking isn't going to kill you," she says.
"Well," James starts to say but she cuts him off.
"Please, it'll make me feel normal," she sighs.
"Alexa, we aren't normal. We live in a palace for goodness sake," he throws his arms out gesturing around him.
"Yes, I've noticed," she nods.
"Fine, I'll see what I can do," he sighs. She smiles and kisses her cheek.
"You missed my lips," he frowns.
"Yeah, I know. That's for arguing," she smirks and I laugh. They both turn to me, eyebrows raised.
"You two are so amusing to watch," I laugh.
"Get a life, Camry," James rolls his eyes.
"Ladies...and James and Devon, may I have your attention," Daxton says.
"The public would like to see the Elite," he announces with a smile on his face. When he doesn't continue, I decide to say something.
"And?" I prompt.
"Oh, of course," he smiles at me. Then continues, "So we're going to let the public see you. By a day at the pool."
"We're going to a public pool?" I quirk an eyebrow.
"No, love. We have an indoor pool here. We'll allow some photographers in and they'll snap some shots of all of you lounging by the pool," he explains. I hear the other girls excited whispers and roll my eyes.
"Since when does the palace have a pool? And how come I didn't know about it?" I ask James.
"The palace has had a pool since...I don't know how long but it wasn't recently. And we didn't tell you ladies because it was an insignificant detail," he shrugs.
"How is a pool an insignificant detail?" I snap.
"Do you like to swim? Does Camry Kingsom actually have a hobby?" James smiles and I slap his arm.
"Okay, between the two of you," he motions to me and Alexa, "my arms will be gone by the time this selections over."
"This will happen at the end of the week," Daxton continues.
"It is the end of the week," I point out.
"Oh, you're right. Then it'll happen Monday," he finishes his announcement and sits back down.
"Camry, you realize it's rude to interrupt a prince?" I hear Genesis voice ask me.
I ignore her, returning to my peaches. I put a peach in my mouth and then spit it out. Everyone stares at me.
