𝐘/𝐧'𝐬𝐩𝗼𝐯 Today was mine and Huey's date and I was getting ready for that, taking extra time to get ready, having to take my hair into account since I had taken down my braids.
As I got ready I had "Igor's theme" by Tyler, the creator, playing, singing along in the shower.
Once I was out I had dried off, putting in some lotion and doing the rest of my skin care and beginning on my hair, ending up checking myself out once I was ready. Hair and fit check

After checking myself out I had grabbed my things, walking downstairs to see Huey surrounded by my brothers, his eyes still falling on me as I walked over.
"Damn stop standing around him like that, it's weird" I say to them, the boys all moving out of my way.
"Sorry sis, was just having a chat" Grayson smiled, all of them seeming off as I looked at Huey, seeing he was basically in a all black fit with a black button down that was slightly open a bit.
"Got yo chest out and everything, who you trying to impress?" I questioned the boy with a smile as he rolled his eyes
"well hopefully this really pretty girl" he responded, my face switching to surprise at how quick his response was.
"I- you know what, let's get this date started, I love y'all, byeee" I say, blowing a dramatic kiss to my brothers before me and Huey left to his car, hand in hand as he opened the car door for me.
"So where are we going?" I asked once Huey got into the car.
"Somewhere, just hold on" he responded "Huey come on now, at least give me a basic idea" I pleaded.
"it's just dinner and a movie, couldn't think of anything grand to be honest, but I did get you something" "dinner and a movie isn't bad, and what did you get me?" I asked, watching as Huey grabbed something from the back seat.
Turns out that something was a bouquet of flowers, very pretty ones at that.
"Aw Huey these are so pretty thank you" I smiled, kissing his cheek before looking at the flowers, not noticing Huey's gaze on be before starting up the car and driving off.
The whole car ride was kind of silent but not in a bad way, more of a mutual silence, Huey driving with one hand on the wheel, the other holding onto my hand.
Eventually we made it to the restaurant, it was one of those places that nobody talks about, but is actually extremely good once you try it.
Once we walked in we were basically instantly lead over to a table.
"Wow a nice restaurant for me? Huey Freeman you shouldn't have" I joked after we ordered our drinks.
For a bit me and Huey made awkward small talk till I decided to ask him something.
"When did you start liking me?" I asked Huey, watching as he started looking a bit nervous.
"Since eighth grade" "eighth grade? That was like three years ago" I was surprised with how long Huey has liked me for.
"Yeah, but what about you?" "Mm kind of the same time as you" I informed, my face heating up a bit just as the waiter came back with our drinks, the both of us ordering our food.
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝗼𝐫'𝐬𝐩𝗼𝐯 As the two talked, their food eventually coming out, the two couldn't help but admire each other, Huey more smiley then normal.
For Y/n she loved that Huey was passionate about his community, and sure he needs some working on when it comes to his approach, but that doesn't stop his point from getting across, but there were many more reasons the girl could list.
Huey does like Y/n for her passions and interests, but also he likes the fact that Y/n would include him an anything she was doing, kind of forcing him out of his shell, something he's thankful for.
So basically the two were head over heels for each other.
Anyways after eating and also getting dessert, it was time for the two to pay.
Even before Y/n could even see the check being placed onto the table, Huey had grabbed it, putting his credit card in and giving a pretty good tip before handing it over for the waiter to run.
"Damn I didn't even get to see how much it was" the girl said "why you wanna see it?" "Cause I don't want you paying to much"
To Huey it was funny Y/n cared so much about the check despite never really having to spend her money unless she really wanted to.
"It's fine, as long as it's for you, I don't mind" Huey says with a slight grin, Y/n rolling her eyes "okay Romeo, whatever you say"
𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐭𝗼𝐘/𝐧 Once they brought back Huey's card and receipt we had left the restaurant, now going to the movies to actually see the multiverse movies that I've been talking about.
Surprisingly the theater wasn't that far and so we were now walking in, Huey paying for our tickets before we went into the theater where the movie was playing, the both of us sitting down as the previews play.
"Do you want anything before we go in? Cause I was going to get some water" Huey asked me as I had to think on it.
"I know we just had dessert, but I got a real bad sweet tooth right now" I say, looking at the lil menu they had.
"Well get whatever, I don't mind" Huey shrugged as I looked over at him, a little giddy feeling bubbling in my stomach as I tried to hold back a smile.
"Huey" "yeah?" Once the boy turned to me, a slight bit of concern on his face, I had kissed him, this time feeling his hand on my cheek.
Once we pulled away, both me and Huey had smiles on our faces.
"So what was that for?" Huey asked me "just felt like it" I answer, moving back when one of the waiters came over, Huey getting both of us water while I asked for a brownie sundae, something that I may have an addiction to.
Anyways the movie already started with a fight and I was definitely invested in every part, but once my sundae was brought over, I was now multitasking with my attention.
As the movie played and I ate my sundae, I saw Huey looking over.
"Wanna try this?" I asked, the boy simply nodding as I got a good bit of ice cream and brownie on my spoon, holding my hand under so no crumbs fell as Huey took a bit.
"No wonder you're obsessed with sundaes" Huey said with a slight chuckle before we turned back to the movie.
Time skip Once the movie was over and stuff, we were now outside of my home in Huey's car.
"Thank you for tonight Huey, this was really fun and I'm surprised I didn't talk you to death" I say, snickering at the last part.
"Nah I like when you talk, and I'm just glad you enjoyed the date cause I definitely did, but there is something I wanna ask you" "and that it?" "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Once the question left his lips I felt all excited, despite this maybe being a little obvious.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend" I say with a smile, being pulled into a deep and heated kiss, Huey's hand on my thigh, mine on his cheek.
The kiss was definitely getting a bit more heated and once we did pull away we were now trying to catch our breaths.
"Well uh, I should probably head inside" I say "yeah probably" "mhm, anyways goodnight, text me when you get home" I say, pecking Huey's lips one last time before opening the car door.
"Yeah I will, goodnight Beautiful" Huey smiled as I got out the car, obviously liking the nickname as I headed to the front door, Derick already opening it for me with a dumb smirk.
"Why are y'all looking like that?" I asked "you got a lil boyfriend now huh?" Aiden asked with a grin "yeah I do" I smiled, the boys all nodding before making me go through the entire date on the couch, all of us wrapped up in blankets, eventually falling asleep.
