Once we arrive at the festival I'm overwhelmed by the lights and sounds, I've never been to something like this but when I look over at Luka, the pure joy and excitement on their face makes being uncomfortable worth it "What? Why are you staring at me like that?" They ask as their face starts to turn red "I'm just happy that you're happy love" taking their hand as the others rush past heading to the various attractions Luka tugs me towards the tilt-a-whirl "This one's my favorite, Mom used to take us here every year when they're in town, Ami and Lucy couldn't stand it, but wouldn't let me ride alone" That's the first time I've heard them talk about their family, I won't say anything though, no need to ruin a good day "I don't know how you can stand those spinning rides, they always make Momo and I sick" Kyo says before playfully bumping into us before getting in line "It's like flying in a storm without the danger, I love it" Momo shakes her head with a smile "You've always been an adrenaline junky L, I'm not surprised you've flown in a storm before" as we move up in line to board the ride we decide to squeeze into a cart together Momo and Kyo screaming while Luka is laughing with their hands in the air, from my spot in the middle I can see all the people milling around and I...feel calm, like everything is going to be okay now. As the ride slows to a stop we all wobble towards the exit leaning on one another"Oh!, they've got a band on stage wanna go see who it is?" Asks Kyo before making their way through the crowd "I'm down, you two gonna follow?" Momo asks while keeping an eye on her partner "Nah maybe later, I wanna go on a few more rides before looking at the other stuff if that's okay with you that is T, I don't want you to be uncomfortable" Luka looks up to me their eyes shining a beautiful mossy green "I'm fine with rides, just don't wanna ride with strangers" brushing their hair out of their face and kissing their forehead "Remember to meet us back at the bus later okay?" Momo calls walking off to find Kyo "Will do, see you later Mo"

~After riding all rides at the festival~

Luka
"Lookit lookit,  the Ferris wheel is all lit up, I love how they go all out during this." Looking down at my phone to check the time I see it's 7:00, "I'm getting kinda hungry, wanna go get some food?" Turning to Touya I see that he's wandered over to a stall that's selling handmade stuffed animals I quietly walk up behind him holding my finger to my lips when the vendor sees me "I want to get something for my partner, they're the love of my life and I love seeing them smile" The vendor nods with a teary smile "Do you know their favorite animal? I have cats, dogs, Griffin's, dragons, and so many more" "I know they love cats, but they've also had a wolf for a friend since we were kids, could I get one of each? Uh, a blue cat and a sparkly wolf??" He asks looking flustered "Of course, you can sweetheart, your partner is lucky to have someone that knows them so well." After handing him the stuffies she waves away his hand when he offers to pay "You remind me of my husband when we first started dating, just take them" she winks at him nodding toward me before I turn around to face a different stall-looking over the jewelry they have out "Hey Luka?" Comes Touya's hesitant voice from behind me, with his hands behind his back "Close your eyes for me okay? I got you something" after closing my eyes he takes my hands placing the stuffies in them "Okay, now open" biting my lip to keep it from trembling "Oh, Touya, I love them!" Wrapping my arms around him and burying my face in his chest "I love you Touya, thank you so much" a group of kids mock us as they walk by but I flip them off "Aww babies so sad they don't get any" Touya's laugh at my response startles me but in turn causes to me laugh with him "Oy, ya damn extra's what's so funny?!" Looking up I see Kats stomping his way toward us with a downcast Kiri behind him "Just makin' fun of some little shits Kats, what's got your panties in a twist" he glares at me before hooking his thumb over his shoulder "That ride is for groups of four only, they won't let us ride without more people" he states before grabbing my hand and pulling me with him "C'mon, I've heard the view from the top is cool before it drops you." "Drops....us? Nah, Kats you know I don't do drop rides, I can't stand free falling" he looks back at me "You said you wanna get over your fears right? It's just a bungee swing, it's perfectly safe" looking up at it shaking my head "I....I don't know Kats, I really don't like those things"
