It didn't take them long before they arrived outside of the building. A man walked down the stairs and opened the car door for them. Aurora climbed out of the car and waited for her parents to get out as well. Her mother gave her, her mask that hid only her eyes before they walked towards the entrance.

They made their way inside the building while Aurora stared with wide curious, eyes around her. It was humongous. The walls were decorated with beautiful paintings while vases with flowers were placed in every corner.

The red carpet on the white concrete floor led them to the main room. Aurora could hear the music playing and could feel herself getting excited and a bit anxious, as well.

The tall black door was wide open, her parents walked in first and she followed close behind them. She clenched her hands around her dress as she felt the stares on them while they walked through the crowd.

Her parents stopped in front of a mdle-aged man. He was talking with another man and two women, who were dressed very fancy. They weren't wearing their masks.

"My friend! Long time no see!" Ivan, laughed as he hit his friend on his back. The unknown man laughed with him and hugged him, patting his back.

"Ivan! My man! I'm so glad you are here! I see that Anna hasn't divorced you, yet, huh?" He said with a teasing voice, making Anna giggle and Ivan push him jokingly. Aurora chuckled quietly but, unfortunately, it was loud enough for the man's eyes to fall on Aurora.

"The young lady must be Aurora, right?" He asked with a kind voice. Aurora nodded her head and gave him a small smile.

"I'm Christopher. I'm very delighted to see you! I remember you when you were just a little girl! You have grown into a beautiful woman!" He said with a proud smile, as her father poked his chest out.

"Of course she is, I'm her father, remember?" He said with an arrogant smile on his face, making Anna roll her eyes. Christopher laughed out loud, like he had said a joke and wiped a fake tear.

Aurora giggled and looked them laughing and joking around. Christopher was very funny and she would feel herself relaxinh more. She was glad her parents were having fun after everything they went through. Her eyes wandered around the large room when they fell on someone. There was a man staring at her, his gaze sending chills down her spine.

He was standing a few feet away from her with a glass of champagne in his hand. He was wearing a black suit with a black button-up shirt inside. His black mask was hiding his identity. He looked very mysterious and intimidating, as he towered over the crowd. She couldn't pull her eyes away from him while her parents voices were fading away. They stated at each other for a couple more minutes before Aurora started walking towards him, without thinking straight. She needed to know who this man was.
