Eddie was in the science lab after school writing down formulas for the test tomorrow. He promised his uncle he had a ride home, but he knew he didn't. He just didn't want Wayne to pick up too early when he wasn't finished. He figured he could just walk.

The loud sounds of the basketball players distracted Eddie. Steve pulled Eddie in for a hug. "Come on, I'll give you a ride him. You look worn!" Steve said. Eddie nodded and allowed Steve to walk safely walk him out of the school.
