School days

Stanley stared out the window with a bored expression, middle school was just so time consuming for no reason.

Like why must he sit here all day in detention just because he told a kid to shut the fuck up. Even though they were being rude to him.

He really hates going to school, he lives in another time now. Why does he have to go again in 2019?

It's most because Diego said that he needs to go and that if he didn't CPS would be called. Then he'll get taken away, which is the last thing Stan even wants.

So here he is, yet again in middle school. Looking off into space as the teacher talks to them about responsibility and all that.

He hears a tap on the window and looks over to see Klaus waving. What the hell is he doing here? A prison break?

Stanley looks around making sure the teacher was busy before going towards the window.

"Come on Stan the man, don't ya want to go have fun?", Klaus offers, which would get both of them killed when Diego found out.

"Diego WOULD kill me if he found out I left", Stan says in a whisper making sure the teacher was busy yelling at a kid.

"Good thing I made all the numbers and emails go to my phone too so I can delete them",Stan grinned and jumped out the window, he could hear the teacher scream to coem back here.

But Klaus and him laughed all the way to the car, making sure no one was following them.

"So where are we going?", Stan asked once they got in the car. "Well I think we should get some food and figure it out from there", Klaus said starting the car.

Stan and Klaus really had a fun time going out all day and not caring about the consequences later. But around the time school ended,Stan went back to the schools outside so Diego could "pick him up".

"You went to detention again?," Diego asked when he saw the paper in Stan's hands. Stan just shrugged.

"You need to get along with the other kids, Kid. Trudy sent you to school before didnt she", Stan nodded halfway listening to his question. "She did... but I only went enough to not get CPS called".

"Look, things are different now obviously. You're 12 years old, you're a kid you aren't going to do anymore shit that you use to do. So that's the first thing you should know", Diego stated making Stan stop in the middle of the side walk.

"You don't think I know that?", Stan said with a snarl, "Clearly things are different now. I won't ever get to see my mom again or anything I knew before".

Diego looked back at him, "I didn't mean like that... and that's not true... I'm sure Trudy is still alive".

"That's not what I meant and you know it! That's not even my mom anymore, I looked it up and apparently we aren't even related anymore", Stan screamed making bystanders look at them. "You don't even understand, you have your family, I have nothing anymore".

Before Diego could say anything stan walked past him towards their shitty place.

"Yeah I do", Diego said grabbing his arm, "And you're apart of my family. Like it or not. Look I'm sorry about your mom, but you aren't alone here".

Diego hugged Stan before could say something, Stan eventually hugged him back.

Both ignoring the looks they are getting from people passing by, seemingly being in each other's embrace being enough for them.

"Look we will figure this out, but I need you to help me here",Stan looked away, "Stop doing dumb shit that could get you hurt".

"Fine. But I want to be paid to be going school", Diego pulled away with a stern look, Stan looked back with his own look.

"You can have an allowance or whatever if I see you approving", Diego said slinging an arm around Stanley's shoulder and walking back.

"Oh.. also, I got an interesting call from your principle today".

Shit.
