Justice League Academy a school for the future of the Justice League

Chapter 3 Enter Hawk and Dove

The students at the justice league academy had pretty good lives at the academy. They trained everyday and they had great friends in each other. Today they were having a good time.

Meanwhile two brothers a 18 year old named Hank and a 16 year old named Don were by themselves. Their parents had disappeared a few months back and their selfish uncle took over everything and kicked the boys to the streets. The uncle didn't care enough to take them to a place to be cared for.

Hank was a strong and fierce young man. While his brother Don was a gentle and one to think things through kind of guy. The brothers were alone all they had was each other. A couple of weeks ago their lives changed forever. They were having a rough time. When they heard a voice. It gave them the ability to become beings called Hawk and Dove.

Hank became Hawk because he was fierce fighter, strong willed and never backing down from a fight. While Don became Dove because he was a gentle, peaceful, and would only throw someone off their balance or use pressure points if he had to, he would much rather try to reason with someone than get in a brawl.

Though the brothers loved each other they would often argue and even result to name calling. But they would never try to punch each other. They would only mostly argue with each other but never use their fists to settle their differences. Hank never wanted to hit Don ever since he was little he was 2 years old when they brought Don home he wanted a brother or sister for sometime and he got his wish because he wanted someone to play with. But thanks to an irresponsible babysitter who wasn't paying attention Don fell down the stairs and hit his head pretty hard when he was two years old. 4 year old Hank was the one who called 911 for his brother when he saw what happened when he heard Don take a tumble. Hank told them that his baby brother fell down the stairs and he was crying and his baby sitter was shouting at him to shut up he was going to be fine, and that she was trying to take a nap. When the paramedics got there Hank explained how their normal babysitter wasn't doing a good job taking care of them and also his parents came in when the 911 alerted them to what happened. Hank told them what happened. They were proud of Hank for staying calm. At the hospital Don was checked out and the doctors said he was going to be fine. His head injury wasn't that serious and he had no broken bones, just a big cut on the side of his head the needed stitches. Hank remembers that day very clearly and decided to always look out for Don.

Don cared about Hank too. Don helped his brother with his studies and hoped they would never be apart. He worried he and Hank would be separated.

They were very happy and then with what happened recently now looking for a place to stay and they didn't know how they would stay together. They worried if social services found them they would be split up.

They heard some sound. "What is going on Hank?" Don asked.

They saw group of Criminals and the justice league academy students. "Looks like trouble," Hank said. "Time for Hawk and Dove," he said.

"Okay," Don said.

"Hawk," Hank said.

"Dove," Don said.

So they changed into the Hawk and Dove then went to help. They were assisting in the fight. "Who are those two?" Booster gold asked.

"Well they are helping us." Warhawk said.

"Yes but where did they come from?" Wild Heart asked.

"Never mind that we have to stop these guys," Aqualad said.

They managed to to defeat the criminals and the police came and took them. "Who are you two?" Terry asked.

"I am Hawk, and this is my little brother Dove," Hawk said.

"Hi," Dove said and waved.

"Nice to meet you," the other young heroes said.

They brought their new friends to meet the teachers. Upon changing back Hank and Don explained their story to the heroes. About their parents being missing and how the uncle claimed every thing.

"I am worried about things, I am worried about Don and I getting separated if social services find out, Don and I need each other." Hank said.

"Well if you want to learn here you can, it is a boarding school so you two can stay here as long as you like," Superman said.

"Thank you," Hank said.

"You know after your parents vanish why did your uncle come in and throw you out even though you are his nephews?" Terry asked.

"I don't know, my mom told her brother was very selfish and that probably explains why he kicked us out," Hank said.

"But I don't want social services called either, neither of us do we don't want to be split apart, we are all each other have," Don said.

"Don is right, I don't want to be taken from him, without me he is just going to get torn up out there," Hank said.

"And without me I don't know who else can calm my brother to his senses when he goes flying off the handle," Don said.

"Yes you are good about that," Hank said.

"Sounds like you two really need each other," Wild Heart said.

"I think I have an idea," Terry said. "Maybe we can see if we can find your parents and find out if they are still alive," he said.

They discovered many times Hank and Don would disagree. "Trust me I know what older brothers and younger brothers are like," Hannah said.

"Oh you have an older brother and a younger brother?" Hank asked.

"Nope I have six older brothers and six younger brothers. I am the only girl child," Hannah said.

"Wow about living in a testosterone zone." Don said.

"Tell me about it," Hannah said.

They started to work on finding Hank and Don's parents. They found them, their parents were in another town being held hostage. They were rescued and they were so happy to see them. "Mom and Dad," Hank and Don said.

"Our boys, our darling boys," their mother said.

"My sons I am so glad to see you again," their father said.

Their parents found out about the powers their boys had and gave them permission to join the Justice League Academy. Their father was a judge who had a fascination with heroes. He even had a superhero who saved him once. He knew they were helping make this world a better place. Though other judges thought he was nuts supporting thing like vigilantes. But he didn't pay them any mind.

"Do your best boys," their father told them.

"And look out for each other," their mother said.

"We will," Hank said.

"We won't forget to keep in contact either," Don said.

Now Hawk and Dove were part of the Justice League Academy and ready to become the future of the Justice league.
