Chapter 5

"ANONG plano mo ngayon?" Tanong ni Celes habang kumakain kami sa cafeteria. It's almost 9pm in the evening at ngayon lang kami kakain ng gabihan.

"Anong anong plano?" Balik kong tanong sa kaniya.

"Kasi you know, ma su-suspicious yung mga ibang students dito na wala kang ability bakit nandito ka," sabi ni Celes. I drank my water and answered her.

"Ano bang gusto mong gawin ko?" Tanong ko. I don't even know what my ability is, do they want me to leave? Kumunot ang noo ko habang nakatingin sa plato ko.

"Hindi 'yon ang ibig sabihin namin," buntong hiningang sabi ni Celes. "Gusto namin na dapat magsimula bukas ay i-discover mo na ang abilidad mo."

"How?"

"We'll help you," Persephone said and finished the last bite of her food. "Starting tomorrow, since we don't have classes naman."

"Fine." I agreed at tumingin tingin sa paligid. I am memorizing the area, okay. I need to get used of the school, you know. Paano kung wala si Celes at Persephone 'di ba, wala akong kasama.

Habang tumitingin tingin ako ay abala naman sa pag kain si Celes dahil tapos na si Persephone, she was just finishing her orange juice. And, ako naman ay tapos na, konti lang kinain ko eh. Someone caught my eye sa may pinaka madilim na bahagi ng paaralan. It has trees, like woods. Sobrang dark nito.

What's that?

It gave me goosebumps! Hindi ko kita kung ano iyon but I'm really sure that it's like a shadow thingy like that, it's color black. What the hell is that?!

So, out of curiosity... I stood up and started walking where I saw that shadow.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" Persephone called but I ignored her and started walking to the woods. My heart is beating so fast!

When I entered the woods, it was really really dark! But my eyes can see what's in side, it's dark hell yeah but my eyes can sense something's really inside the woods.

Nang may mabilis na shadow akong naramdaman sa right side ay tumingin ako rito. At mabilis naman kaagad itong nakatago. It's floating like a ghost! Well, I'm not scared of ghost, I don't believe in them.

My eyes widened when the shadow showed up in front of me! It's... It's like a ghost but this black ghost is bigger! What's this?

When the ghost was about to attack me, I covered my face and someone held me on my shoulder and I looked back, it's Celes and Persephone.

Lumingon ako sa harap ko ngunit wala na ang itim na anino. I looked back at Celes and Persephone, they just saved my life! Kung... Kung hindi sila dumating baka nakuha na ako nung itim na aninong iyon.

"T-thanks for saving me," I uttered. Both of their forehead creased. "I.. mean, hindi ninyo ba nakita yung.. yung.. yung itim na anino?"

"Huh? Anino? Wala kaming nakita, Eilonwy. We just saw you here covering your face with your two arms like you're scared of something so we went to you." Paliwanag ni Celes na tinanguan naman ni Persephone.
