Chapter 2 - Is It Truly Love?

(Rui's POV!)

(Emu, Rui.)

It was the end of practice, and everyone was getting ready to leave. But I decided to stay at the Wonder Stage to rehearse the play. I sat down on the edge of the stage and took out a piece of paper, writing down new ideas. As I was scribbling/writing on the paper, I hear footsteps, and a high-pitched voice coming my way.  I looked up to see Emu running towards me.

"Rui-kun! Rui-kun!!"

"Ah, hello, Emu! What do you need?"

"Okay, I know this is probably reeally weird for me to ask but, do you happen to have a crush on anyone?? If you do, who is it?! Tell me!! Tell meee!!"

"Oh, well.. I think I have a crush on Tsukasa-Kun.. I'm not sure if it's a feeling that'll go away overtime or if I truly have a crush on him.. I'm a little conflicted. I hope that answers your question."

"It does!! Thank youuu!!!"

I watched Emu run away with a huuuge smile on her face, she looked like she was going on her phone while running.

"I can't wait to tell Tsukasa-Kun!!"

Wait. Did I hear that correctly?? Was Emu going to tell Tsukasa what I said? Why? Does Tsukasa like me?? I probably just misheard her. I needed to continue writing down ideas for the play...

(Tsukasa's POV)

I was walking around in a circle in the dorm, waiting for Emu message me. My phone was on my bed, flipped over so all I could see was my phone case. I couldn't keep my eyes away from the phone, I tried to, but I just couldn't. Just as I was about to give up and message Emu myself, I got a notification. I ran over to my phone, picking it up and turning it on.

[@WorldFutureStar] Crying screaming rolling on the floor.

[@WONDERHOY] I BET ITS AN ACTUAL CRUSH!! ANYWAYS I HAVE TO GO ! IM GETTING READY FOR A DATE WITH NENE !! :3

I turned off my phone and just sat down on my bed, processing everything. Rui might have a crush on me.. I went back on my phone and re read the messages. Might.. I reread the message once again, just to clarify what Emu said. By the time I stopped, the door opened, then shut. It was Rui. I'm not sure, but I would like to tell him that I liked him...No, I loved him. I set my phone down and walked up to Rui quickly.

(Tsukasa, Rui)

"Rui! Perfect timing... I would like to tell you something!"

"I wanted to tell you something too, but go ahead. You first."

"Ah.. Okay. Uhm.."

At that moment, I didn't know what to say. My mind went blank and my heart was racing. I was look at Rui right in the eyes. I loved him. I needed him. He was the person who gave me motivation to actually do things. He's perfect, incredible, amazing, fantastic... God damnit. Okay... I'll tell him.

"Rui...Uhm..."

I took a deep breath, knowing that I was going to say a lot in one sentence. This is the moment I've been waiting for. Does he really like me? I would think so...! I'm a star!

"Rui, I don't know how to say this perfectly but I am madly in love with you. You make my days so much better by just being there, you're so nice and kind... I love everything about you.."

"Tsukasa..."

Rui looked...Pleased? I didn't know what to do at this point. But he looked pretty happy. What is he going to even say? Yes? No? I don't know!! This was my only chance... I need to hope that he says something good.

"I didn't know you felt that way, and I'm quite glad you said all of that... I'll happily say that I love you too, Tsukasa."

What? He likes me?? Loves..? My mind went crazy. I couldn't help but just to hug him.. I've never been this happy in awhile. I could feel Rui hugging me back. We stayed there for awhile, and I didn't want to let go. I just wanted to stay there forever. Sometimes I just have to take a break from preforming, or worrying about my future and Saki. This is the time I wanted...No, needed. Rui is seriously the best... After a few minutes of quietly hugging, we heard a knock at the door. I didn't want to leave Rui's embrace, but I had to. I slowly backed away to let go, then turn to open the door.

(Tsukasa, Rui, Mizuki)

"Oi! Rui, Tsukasa! Glad you're both here! Theres something I wanted to show you both, because I made it for you two, and Toya and Lil' bro!"

"Hm? Alright. But what exactly is it?"

"I won't tell you until you actually get there! Let's go!"

"Wait!- Mizuki!"

Mizuki grabbed onto both of our arms and pulled us out of the dorms. They dragged both of us down and to their dorm. Before we got there, I couldn't see Toya and Akito waiting there.. So I'm guess that they were inside. Mizuki then walked into their dorm, which I guess we had to follow. The first thing I saw was a bunch of extremely designed outfits, looking different for each one. Though, it was like two pairs. They weren't the same color, or design. But the way they were next to each other made it feel like it was supposed to match.

"You said you made your..Whatever... For Akito and Toya. Where are they?"

"I showed them before I came to you guys!..It took awhile, though. I had to search the entire school before Ena gave me the idea to check your dorm."

"You could've just texted one of us, but that's alright. What is it you would like to show us, though?"

"Outfits! Remember? The dance is coming up soon!..I think! I don't know when. I finish all of my classes on the same day so I have free time off. I hope I got your sizes right... So please try them on!"

"They do look pretty good, Mizuki.. It's impressive.."

"I agree. Good work."

Mizuki handed us the different outfits. Then they pushed us out of their dorm... I guess they wanted us to actually try them on at our dorm. Rui was already walking away, so I followed him. Sometimes, I really do wonder what is going through his mind. Now that I think of it... Does this mean we're dating now?!?
