I stared at the blank wall. I had no one to talk to and most importantly I didn't want to talk to anyone. Living in a orphanage was boring and I hated it, but unfortunately my parents didn't want me. My father was a good man and my mother was really caring. A lot went down but now I live here and my parents are in heaven.

The room was soon infested with children laughing and screaming because a couple of kids were running around playing tag. To get away from the kids I moved downstairs. There was knock on the door and Ms. Abbey opened the door to greet 4 guys and guided them to their office. I knew this was an adoption so I ran up to my room and sat on the bed and started reading my book.

The door opened slightly and all the other children rushed to the beds. After they made their beds they all went to their big groups of friends and started talking. I knew I wasn't gonna be picked so I put my pillow above the covers and pretended to sleep. Something seemed off today but I couldn't put a finger on it. I heard the door open and Ms. Abbey told us to sit down. I sat up but looked at my thumbs as I twiddled them around.

They walked around for a bit and then they all separated. Two guys came down my row and the other two went down other rows. The two looked at me then walked towards me. I didn't dare make eye contact because I didn't know what they were like. One of the guys knelt down to try and make eye contact with me.
"Are you okay." The guy with blonde hair asked.
"Of course she's not ok... She lives in a place like this." The other with brown hair and a beanie said. I smiled and let out a little giggle. The guy with blonde hair smiled at me.

The other two came towards us.
"I think she's perfect. The guy with the blonde hair said. I heard a couple snickers from the other kids and I started twiddling with my thumbs again.
"Luke your making her uncomfortable." A guy with crazy colour hair said with a laugh. I started giggling and all the guys seemed to smile.

They all looked at each other and left the room. All the other kids were staring at me but I just shrugged it off. It was about 5 minutes until Ms. Abbey came into the room.
" Sky. It's your time sweetie. You've been adopted!" Ms. Abbey said with a smile. I was always one of her favourite children because I was well behaved and quiet. I grabbed my backpack and filled it with my belongings. I could feel the stares on my back.

Once I was done, I left the room and walked downstairs quietly. The nice boys that had talked to me earlier were there and I just smiled. We stood there for a bit while the guy named Luke filled out the papers. When he was done, we went outside and made our way to this black Escalade. It was nice and had plenty of room. I sat in the back with the the crazy hair coloured guy and they guy with black hair and a beanie.

The ride to the house was about 1 hour long. We pulled into a driveway of a big mansion. It was big but not to huge and it was a beige sand colour. It had decks for each room it looked and the driveway went under the house because part of it was elevated like a hotel. I got my backpack and walked out of the car. I stared at the house in disbelief. This is where I'm gonna live.
