The Forbidden Love (Danny Gonzalez x Drew Gooden x Kurtis Conner)

Chapter 3

Danny stood beside Drew's hospital bed in utter guilt. He couldn't believe what he'd just done! When Drew wakes up he may have amnesia, alzheimer's, diarrhea, or even he may even be dead. A tear trickled down Danny face as he puts both his hands together and prays to his all mighty lord and savior, Mr. Beast, to save Drew. 

"Please, Mr. Beast, save Drew from this pain. Amen." Danny whispered gently. Suddenly, he heard footsteps walk inside. He turns around swiftly, to see Kurtis Conner standing before him. "K-Kurtis? Kurtis Conner??" 

"Danny Gonzalez? What are you doing here?" Kurtis asked with his eyes wide. Danny hesitated to answer. He didn't want to admit that Drew was here all because of him.

"I... uh..." Danny's mind raced for an excuse or explanation, but he couldn't think of anything. Tears filled his eyes and he found himself on his knees, sobbing. "I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry..." He cried. 

"Oh, Danny, come here." Kurtis said as he wrapped his arms around Danny. Kurtis wiped Danny's tears off his face. "He's going to be okay, the doctors said he's only suffering from a mild concussion and should be awake soon." 

"Good." Danny responded, smiling. Seeing Kurtis made him feel more at home. It reminded him of when they first met in 4th grade; Drew and Danny befriended the poor little country boy who just moved there. It just so happened that little country boy would be holding Danny in his arms lovingly. 

The two stared at each other with passion in their eyes. They admired each others beauty, and slowly inched their faces closer and close together. Though, Kurtis quickly snapped out of it. "So, I'm assuming you came to visit your parents?" he asked as he removed Danny from his grasp. 

"Oh, yeah. I heard about what happened with Drew and came as soon as I could." Danny said, knowing he's leaving out very important details. 

"Yeah, it's crazy honestly. I heard the psycho who did this is still out there. Witnesses say he tackled him in a fit of rage whilst laughing maniacally and then ran off." As Kurtis said this, Danny's heart sunk. He can't believe that people really think that's what happened! Danny didn't mean to hurt Drew, he wasn't mad at him at all. The only reason he ran off was to go get help after seeing the blood pour out everywhere. "I swear, once I find out who did this, I'll kill them with my bare hands." Kurtis growled, clenching his fists. Danny gulped and began sweating profusely.

"Well, uh- I see you and Drew are still close!" Danny says in an attempt to change the subject. 

"Yeah! Well, we're actually together." Kurtis says shyly, unclenching his fists and blushing. 

"Oh..." Danny says. This was very shocking to him. He thought that moment him and Kurtis had just had meant something. He hoped, maybe the past could come back. "That's great! I'm happy for you two!" he said, putting on a fake smile. 

"So, how has New Yor-"

"Kurtis? Danny?"
