Chapter 1 : Reincarnation

Umi's POV

"Umi, it's time for school!" I could hear my mother call from downstairs.

The yell had startled me awake, I sat there for a moment to gather my wits. I pulled the blankets back, and reached over to my bedside table and put on my round glasses over my turquoise blue eyes. As i got out of my bed i almost tripped over my cat, he's a scottish fold named Max.

"Coming!" I shouted back down. Looking down at max, "Good morning, Max."

I go and open the door, then turn around grab Max putting him down and closeing my door. I quickly jog down the stairs without tripping on Max as he runs down the stairs with me. As I get downstairs i head into the kitchen, when I get there I see my mom in the kitchen at the dining table setting two plates.

"Good morning, sweetie." my mother said with her gentle tone.

As she said that she didn't turn around and I jumped a little, I don't know how but she always catches me by surprise. I sit at the table, mom sets my plate on the table in front of me. I look around but I notice that dad isn't there, I turn and look at my mom and she had already sat down at the end of the table.

"Good morning, mom." I replied back." Where's dad?"

He's usually down and eating before I even wake up, unless he left for work already. As i finished my food, I walked over and put my plate in the sink. I turn around as my mom gets up to wash them, I stand by the stove picking at the contents on the stove.

" He already left for work, now go upstairs and get dressed." mom answered.

I start to make my way to the stairs, almost tripping over Max again who is laying at the bottom of the stairs. Jogging up the stairs, opening the door to my bedroom i head to my dresser and grab a blue crop top, black denim mid thigh shorts and my blue converse. Walking into my bathroom to brush my super curly black hair, walking out and to the end of my bed to grab my backpack.

I walk back down stairs with my stuff, I see my mom by the door with her keys. When we got to the car I got into the passenger seat, mom got into the driver's seat and started the car. As we were driving to school I sat in the seat reviewing my homework, we got to school fairly fast as we live close.

"Okay, I love you, be good and have a nice day, you'll have to walk home because me and your father will be working late." she said while kissing my forehead.

"Love you too mom, I'll see you after you get home." I replied as I kissed her cheek and got out of the car.

As she drove away I made my way into the school, I looked around and saw my friends by our lockers. I walk to my locker, opening it and putting my stuff into it. I then turn to my friends, listening to them and giving my input a couple times until the bell ring meaning we have class.

(AN: I'm going to skip to the end of the day because i don't like school. :p)

As the last bell rang, we went to our locker and grabbed our stuff. As we were leaving I started on my way home with one of my friends, she had left as I went into the opposite direction. When i was walking to the road I had to cross I waited until the red lights went on, and made my way across the road when i heard a screech then black.

I hope you like this chapter, it's going to be a little while to get a schedule going but i hope you like it as it's my first story i've ever written.
So, I edited this chapter a little and I'll try to do the next chapter soon.
