I was having the nightmare again where it was standing next to my bed, near the foot end. I'm so sick of seeing that thing and it causing havoc. I swear that thing is causing my nightmares. I wanted to get up and hit it but I couldn't move. Great, just great. It put its clawed hand around my leg and gave a tug, dragging me out of bed. I hit the ground with a thud. I was ready to wake up. But I didn't.
I didn't wake up.
This was real.
It was in my room.
I started screaming and calling out to Brian, Jack and Tim. They all rushed into my room. When the light was turned on it disappeared. How..? I was sobbing frantically, being too panicked to process what just happened. Jack hugged me tightly, Brian was sitting next to me and rubbing my shoulder, I heard Tim sit down on my bed and sigh.
''I-It was in my r-room.'' I sobbed
''What was in your room?'' Brian asked, rather confused
I repeated the same phrase. I couldn't muster out anything else, I continued to sob into Jack's shirt.
That's it. I'm not sleeping in my room anymore.
After I calmed down I explained what happened and went to sleep in Jack's room. Brian had brushed it off as a sleep paralysis nightmare. But I didn't believe that...
In the morning I talked with Brian again.
''It's my room...'' I mumbled
''What do you mean Toby?'' He asked
''I mostly have my n-nightmares in my room. At least, specific ones.''
''Strange... Let's see if your nightmares stop if you sleep in my room or Jack's room. If you only have nightmares in your room it almost sounds like something in your room is causing those nightmares.''
''We'll see I guess.''
I don't know if I ever want to sleep alone again honestly. Something causing my nightmares? That's strange. It can't be my Proxy symbol. I see my skulls every night before I go to bed. Does the strange uneasiness I feel when looking at my latest buck skull really have that big of an impact on me? To the point I get nightmares...?
''On a different topic, we can dye your hair this week.''
''R-Really?! Heck yeah! That's so cool, i'm e-excited!''
After breakfast Jack and I went to hang out in the forest. I wanted to look for pinecones. I thought it would be cute to use one of the shelves in my bookcase as a shrine for aesthetic stuff. E.J's art has inspired me to add things I find pretty together. Candles (scented of course), pine cones, insects, skulls, flowers... Random things I like to collect. Eventually I got distracted by some tall grass with grasshoppers, I wanted to catch one. Jack patiently waited for me to catch one of those tiny jumpy bitches- It took me a while, but I managed to catch one. I got cocky and wanted to catch another one. Luckily the second one didn' t take so long. I ran over to Jack to show him.
''Wow two!''
''Yes! Look look I can m-make them kiss!'' I chuckled
I gently pressed the two grasshoppers together, making them kiss as if they were two dolls.
''Oh my god Toby-''
''They're in love.'' I smiled
''Just like us.''
I looked up at Jack and smiled, I put the two grasshoppers back and held E.J's hand.
''By the way Brian said we could probably dye my h-hair this week!''
''That's kick-ass!'' He smiled
''You're also kick-ass, babe.'' I said softly
''You're so cute Toby!'' Jack chuckled ''I always say the same things, I just can't think of anything else around you.''
He kissed my forehead.
We headed back to the cabin and hung out in my room doing random things until dinner. After dinner we went for a short walk and then went to Jack's room.
E.J laid down in his bed, I crawled on top of him and sat down on his lap. To my surprise he shot up and tightly gripped my hips with his hands, slightly pushing me off so I was sitting on his thighs. I didn't understand what was happening. I stared at him, kinda dumbfounded.
''Are you okay?'' I asked, a bit concerned next to being confused as fuck...
''Yeah sorry, you were sitting right on my crotch.''
''Oh, sorry.''
I felt my face heat up with embarrassment. Jack gave me a kiss on the cheek. I kissed his cheek, forehead and jawline. Then I really kissed him. When we pulled away to breathe Jack flipped me and pinned me to his bed. I was a blushing mess. I didn't trust E.J's smile, he was planning something. He laid down on top of me and kissed my throat for a few minutes. I tightly gripped his shirt. Jack moved forward, slightly grinding against my crotch. I let out a small yelp. I could feel his smirk against my skin. Oh, so first he pushes me off then does this on purpose... I gave a small tug at his hair. He stopped kissing my neck for a moment. Then he bit down. I gasped.
''Shit...'' He mumbled
''W-What?'' I breathed
''I didn't even bite hard but my teeth still tore your skin. It's not bleeding badly, but still I didn't mean to create a wound...''
''It's okay.'' I said softly
I ran my fingers through his hair. E.J licked the bite. I shuddered. He continued to lick and and suck on the bite wound.
''See I knew you were a v-vampire-'' I joked
''I'm not—''
''Vampire d-descended from a fruit bat, you're a fruity vampire-'' I wheezed
Jack sat up and I stopped laughing. I stared up at him with a huge smirk.
''What are you thinking about h-huh?'' I smiled
''I don't know...'' E.J mumbled
He put his hands on my shoulders and let his hands trail down to my chest, then my stomach and stopped at my hips. My smirk faded, I was freaking out now- Jack slowly let his hands glide upwards, his fingers slipped under my shirt. The skin on skin contact gave me goosebumps. His hand went up to my chest again. E.J could probably feel my fast heart beat with his hands. He was smiling softly, I was biting the inside of my remaining cheek. Then Jack slightly pinched both my nipples. I yelped and squirmed. E.J burst out laughing.
''H-Hey not funny-''
I punched his shoulder.
''Sorry sorry. Gosh your reactions are so cute.''
Jack gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
''Okay i'm gonna get a bandage for the bite. I'll be right back Tobes.''
''Will I a-also turn into a vampire now???''
He squinted, I smiled.
''Watch it...''
''I'm watching-''
Jack left to get something for the bite wound. He made sure to desinfect it. While he was applying the bandage I talked about random things.
''I kinda want new clothes... Like n-new summer clothes..? Specifically actual short shorts. Oh and swimming trunks. Or a bikini who knows.''
''You want fruity clothes~'' E.J chuckled
''Fuck yeah!'' I smiled
''We should get matching outfits.''
I stared at E.J's black tar tears. I never knew for sure if they were made from tar but they reminded me of it. I wonder what the substance tastes like- is it poisonous..?
''You seem to be thinking deeply about something. Wanna share it?''
''What does the black substance from your eyes t-taste like?''
''You- You're seriously wondering about that?'' He chuckled
''Yeah-''
''I don't think it's a good idea you try, it's not meant to be ingested.''
''But-''
E.J covered my mouth.
''No, period.''
''Okay.'' I mumbled into his hand
''Anyways, I'm craving ice cream. How about you? Want anything?''
''I'd also like ice cream.'' I smiled
''Okay let's go downstairs.''
In my fantasy Jack's tar tears taste like licorice, but I probably should listen to him and not ingest it. I remembered the time I threw up a black substance. It must have something to do with demonic things.
