Chapter Twenty Two

{BRIAN'S P.O.V}

Tour had come and gone like everytime before and we had decided to have a family vacation, so we got home, we packed and booked a flight to Dominican Republic, it was a beautiful place and we had gotten a villa near the beach so we wouldn't be disturbed, Luna loved it playing in the sand all the time, Lilith loved playing with Luna on the beach all day, I watched and joined in occasionally but I had this nagging voice in he back of my head bringing up how I wanted another child, I knew Lilith wouldn't be ready.

I walk out onto the beach to see Luna splashing in the waves, Lilith was rooting through her bag for something and looked gorgeous so I snapped a cheeky photo then went over to her "babe what are you looking for?" She looks up smiling "my camera" I chuckle and wave her camera about "you mean this one" she smiles softly and stands up "yes that one" I hand her it and she takes a photo of Luna playing in the crystal clear water, we had been here for a week already and we're staying for a month, peace from the world I guess.

I watched as it started to get dark, Lilith was making supper and I was keeping an eye on Luna, she was still running around in the waves, her skin had already started to tan, she didn't look so dead, well I know technically we are dead, but she looked normal "Brian time to get Luna in" I nod and walk over to her "come on baby girl, supper is ready" she jumps up and runs the rest of the way to me, she grabs my hand and we walk inside "hmm smells good momma" Lilith smiles and places the food down "ooo is it paella?" She nods and we all dig in "momma can you pass me the sea food sauce please" Lilith passes Luna the sauce and she adds a small amount to her plate then fastens it placing it back on the mat.

Once we had eaten, we sat down in front of the TV to watch a movie, Princess And The Frog, obviously it's still Luna's favourite, she sang along to the film and started yawning "someone is tired" she shakes her head "nuh uh" she sticks her tongue out, me and Lilith laugh "can we go outside to watch the stars?" I nod "sure lets what the end of this and then we can, but get your pjs on first missy" Luna nods and turns her attention back to the TV "babe I'm going to go wash the dishes" Lilith nods and I get up going into the kitchen.

I start by clearing the table, then I wash the plates and bowls, then the pans, lastly the cutlery. I dry everything off and put it away "come on daddy!" I turn to see Lilith and Luna waiting by the decking door, I smile putting the towel down as I follow them outside, we all lay on a sun lounger and look up at the stars "you see that one" me and Lilith look at the star Luna is pointing out "yes darling" Luna smiles "that real bright one, that's Damien, he is always looking down on us you know" I smile softly "he is indeed Luna, he will be thinking, I have the best big sister ever, even if I didn't get to meet her" Luna smiles widely and I look over at Lilith who has small tears dripping down her face "how come people die?" Lilith gets up and I get up sitting next to Lilith "people die all the time Luna" she nods "yes but why?" I look up, then I look back down at Luna "some people were born to die, some people were born to live" Luna nods "the people who were born to die, we're need some place else that's why they die" Luna nods again "so Damien was needed up in the sky more then he was here with us?" Lilith nods "yes darling that's right" Luna looks down "but we love him" Lilith nods "yes we do love him, very much" Luna nods and yawns again "I'm tired now" I nod getting up, I pick up Luna and she rests her head on my shoulder and Lilith follows me, I take her into her bedroom and I lay her on the big bed "mommy can you sing to me?" Lilith nods and sits on Luna's right hand side and I sit on the left "My love, leave yourself behind, Beat inside me, leave you blind. My love, you have found peace. You were searching for relief." Luna smiles at Lilith's voice
"You gave it all, Gave into the call.
You took a chance and You took a fall for us." By the time Lilith had finished the second verse Luna had fallen asleep and Lilith kissed her forehead. I did the same and we leave the room going back out onto the decking, Lilith slips her flip flops off and goes onto the beach, she dances around and I smile watching her.

She twirls and jumps gracefully through the air, she stretches her leg up in the vertically and I take a photo, she looked so carefree, it was truly beautiful, then she started doing handstands and cartwheels around, I smile when she finishes and comes back up on to the decking, she was breathing heavily and smiling widely "have fun?" She nods "lots of fun" I grin standing, I lean down and peck her lips "good" she nods "I'm beat now though" I nod "come on we will go to bed"
