Meeting the love of my life

November 1802
Raven

As I made my way through Honeyfield, and to the market I saw a strange gentlemen by Martha's venue.

"Hmm, I have never seen him before" I said. I made my way over to Martha and smiled at her.

"Raven dear, good to see you feeling better" Martha said. I smiled.

"I'm feeling wonderful. Could I get some Ginkgo and some Valerian?" I asked her. She smiled as I could feel the stares of the gentleman next to me.

"I'll be right back. Let me grab it from the stock from the back" Martha said.
I nodded my head. When the bishop had gotten back into town, I had went to him about his high priest and what he was doing.
Let's just say there is a new batch of priest and holy men, running the church that agree with my medicine.
I still get called a witch every now and then, but it doesn't bother me.

"Mr if I was you I would get away from that witch. You should come over here and have some fun with me instead" Melissa said.
I rolled my eyes. Of course. I knew as soon as I saw him she would want to have a swing at him.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" The man asked.
Oh my goodness. The voice. I turned my attention to the man beside me. That was strange. He had long white hair. Half of it was pulled back. It seemed as though he tried to keep it out of his face, but it wasn't working.
He seemed more noble like. Like he wasn't suppose to be here in this town.

"I'm Melissa. The next Mrs to you" Melissa said. I could just tell he was disgusted by her.

"Please do excuse yourself. I would rather be in the presence of this beautiful woman next to me, then a tramp like yourself" the man said.

I stifle a laugh as I see Martha make her way back to me with my herbs.
I smiled and see Melissa run off with tears in her eyes. She has never been turned down until now.

"Thank you Martha. I deeply appreciate it! Tell Charlie I said hi" I said.

"Oh I will" Martha said. As I began to walk away, I felt a rough, but gentle touch on my arm.

"Excuse me miss, but would you be able to tell me where the black smith is? You see my sword was damaged and I'm needing to get it fixed" the man said.
  I smiled at him.

"Sure come on, I'll show you where is at" I said. I waved at Martha one more time and made my way towards the black smith.

"Are you sure you want to be seen with a witch?" I asked.

"I don't care if your a witch or not. You're aura is telling me that you're the most kindest person in this dingy old town" the man said.

"Well...thank you. This town may be dingy, but the people I have met has made it all better. I'm Raven" I said.
I turned to him and held out my hand. He gently took mine and brought it up to his gentle lips and kissed it.

"Xenos" He said. I quickly try to pull my hand back, but he held it in his grasp.

"Please let me hand go" I said. I looked down at the ground now understanding why he didn't belong here.

"Raven you can look up at me in the eyes. I would deeply appreciate if you would" Xenos said.
I slowly look up and see the golden yellow eyes, that complemented his skin perfectly.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't realize, I was talking to his highness" I said. He smiled at me and brought my hand back up kissing it.

"Don't worry Raven. I'm only the second prince. If anything my brother Lennox would be the king soon. God forbid I would never want that responsibility" Xenos said.
I let the breathe I was holding go. I gently smiled at him, feeling much more relaxed.

"I do apologize though. I didn't mean to make it sound like that" I said.
  He laughed.

"No need to worry. Now can you show me to the black smith. Raven?" He asked.
The way my name rolled out of his mouth made my knees buckle with excitement.

"Yes, I still can. Right this way" I said.
He had continued to hold my hand as I lead him to the blacksmith.
I felt the heat on my face get even warmer then before.

"Um Xenos...you can let go of my hand now" I said.
He looked down at our hands and shrugged his shoulders, as the blacksmith came into view. As he pulled me towards the blacksmith I see Mavis working on one of her many weapons. I quickly slipped my hand from his and rushed toward Mavis.

"Mavis!" I said. She stopped what she was doing and smiled over at me.
We both pulled each other into a hug.

"Oh it's so good to see you! I didn't realize you were back in town? When did you get back in?" I asked.
She had pulled away and smiled at me once again.

"I got back yesterday. I came from the West. I was in Fermen" Mavis said. She looked over my shoulder and raised her eyebrow at me.
She pulled my down and whispered in my ear.

"Who's the pretty boy?" She asked.
