Chapter 17 - Band Practice

Sarah and Eddie soon arrived at Jeffs, dressed for the shenanigans ahead. Sarah wore white converse, black knee high socks, black skirt which Eddies Metallica t shirt and her white long sleeve was tucked into. She also paired a few of Eddie's miscellaneous chains with it to add some layering and texture. Eddie simply wore his white trainers, black ripped jeans, handcuff belt, hellfire shirt, leather jacket and denim jacket. An iconic look for him.

Eddie held Sarah's hand as they walked to the open garage, music blaring loudly as they practised without him. "You sound like shit without me" Eddie chuckled as they stopped playing upon his arrival.

"Well maybe if you weren't so busy...doing other things, we wouldn't be sounding like shit" Gareth sassed, his eyes being drawn to Sarah's neck where she had been marked by him.

"Well we have actually figured out the perfect song for us to do" Eddie spoke, trying his best to ignore the comment by Gareth, knowing that it had likely triggered Sarah and he didn't want to make it worse.

"Do tell" Jeff spoke up after giving Sarah a comforting smile.

"Why tell you, when I can show you?" Eddie grinned and pulled the cassette from his pocket, waving it around before placing it into the speaker.

Rock n Roll all Nite erupted from the speaker, Eddie instantly playing air guitar despite there being a perfectly good, real one sat waiting to be played just inches away from him. Sarah couldn't help but smile at her man as he melted into his element, the boys joining in, Gareth mimicking the drums, Jeff with the bass and Freak with other guitar. It didn't take them long to all start singing along to the song, vibing with one another as they had done for years prior.

When the song came to an end, Eddie turned the music down and instantly looked around the room to see their sweaty faces lit up with smiles "So..?" Eddie raised a brow with a knowing grin. The boys instantly began to say yes, throwing out compliments about how perfect it was. "All the credit goes to Sarah, it was her idea"

"Not all me" Sarah shook her head, her cheeks flushing red.

"Don't be so modest Darling" Eddie smirked and walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. Sarah leant into him, her hands placed on his chest as she snuggled into him, feeling his heart racing against her cheek.

"You two are so cute, I could barf" Freak laughed, making the other boys join in.

"Ha ha, very funny" Eddie spoke before kissing her head softly "So shall we start practicing?"

"So what exactly are you going to be playing Sarah?" Freak asked with a laugh, confused as in class she never showed much interest in the physical aspect of music like the rest of them.

Sarah grinned and looked up at Eddie, them sharing a look, knowing what was coming next. Sarah pulled away from Eddie and walked over to the synth. "Mind if I?" Sarah asked, switching it on, looking at the boys with a cocky look.

"Go ahead" Jeff spoke, knowing she had something planned.

"Count me in Gareth" Sarah spoke, placing her hands over the keys lightly, the notes flying in her head as she replayed the song in her head.

Gareth tapped her in and she began to play a synthetic version of Rock n Roll all Nite's chorus. Eddie couldn't help but smile wide, his eyes scanning round the garage to see the boys with open jaws and shocked eyes. His eyes scanned back to Sarah, seeing as she mouthed the words to the song, a little jig in her movements as she enjoyed herself. She finished the chorus with a long note before flicking her head back, her hair swishing back into its messy, curly wolf cut ways.
