Kaizer's POV
After my parents left I immediately called Camilla. "Love, I'm sorry!" I paused for a moment. "I will do everything I can, to stop what my grandmother's want."
"Natatakot ako, but I want to trust you." she said. I hug her and let her rest on my shoulder.
After a week, nalaman ko na pwede na akong ma discharge. Umuwi si Camilla sa bahay nila kagabi kaya nagchat lang ako sa kaniya ang nagbantay lang sa akin ay si Jedi at Flare.
Lumabas si Jedi dahil aayusin ang discharge paper ko, pero agad din siyang napabalik. Humahangos siyang pumasok sa room ko.
"Kei, your Abuela is here!" he said a little loudly while catching his breath.
I saw people entering my room, Jedi stepped aside to let them through. Mom, Dad, Celestine, Abuela and Abuela Rosaiah and Z.
My eyes widened looking at them. Mom immediately came to me. "Don't worry, just go with what they say." she whispered.
I feel something strange about them coming here all of a sudden. "Kaizer, I'm happy that you are doing well now, later we'll eat at a restaurant to talk about your marriage with Zaraiah."
I feel like I want to get sick again from what I've heard. What she said left my mouth open. "Abuela." I furrowed my eyebrows.
"I don't take no for an answer. So I will take it as a yes." then she smiles and hold my hand. "Please." I just nod.
"Zaraiah come accompany your fiancé and soon to be husband." then Z came to us. Abuela make our arms anchored to each other. "You look good together." she smile and left us beside my bed.
She walks toward Abuela Rosaiah. "Pag kinasal na sila Kei at Zaraiah mas magiging mas close ang family natin." she said then give her a big smile.
I immediately turn my head on the door when I heard footstep. I saw my friends looking at me and... the girl I love fainting at what she sees now.
It hurts me to see her like that because of me. My face frowned when her eyes met mine.
'Just be patient love, I'm sorry.'
Is all I can do now is to say sorry? Why can't I fight for her? I'm a coward, I can't even say that she is my girl. Why am I feeling this way?
I came back to my senses when Z suddenly speak. "O nandito na pala sila" she said.
"Oh apo, ipakilala mo naman ako sa mga kaibigan mo" my Abuela said, I just nod and stand I remove Z's arm on mine but she immediately grabbed it again, I sighed heavily.
"Abuela, that's Kade, Jason, Charles, Flare, Ryle boyfriend ni Heidi, Yui, Camilla at yung iba kilala mo na right?" I said without any expression. "Guys this is my grandmother, father's side. My abuela Dalia Estabillo" I fake a smile.
I can't smile happily when I am seeing the girl I love suffering because of this fucking situation.
I look at Camilla then I suddenly saw her hand holding Yariel's hand. Nasaktan ako pero alam kong mas doble ang sakit na nararamdaman niya.
"Hello everyone, you know Zaraiah right?" my Abuela said. I look at Camilla again and she bowed her head. "She is the fiancé of Kaizer" she added.
When Abuela said that I immediately look at Camilla again, I saw her hiding on Yariel's back.
'I know she's crying right now.'
Yariel looks at her then I saw Sabrina grabbed handkerchief on her pocket and give it to Camilla. 'She's crying.' I want to go to her right now and hug her but I can't.
Yariel looks at me and give me a death glare before he speaks. "Please excuse us, my girlfriend stomach is aching she needs to get check, thanks" what I heard felt like a knife pierced my heart.
I looked at them on their way out. Camilla's eyes met mine but I looked at her emotionless. I saw her bloodshot eyes and it was obvious that she was in pain.
Nang makalabas na sila hindi ako umiimik, hanggang sa magsalita na si Abuela. "We just wait for your doctor at dederetso tayo sa restaurant." she said.
Tumango lang ako sa lahat ng gusto nila, hinayaan ko lang sila sa mga ginagawa nila, wala parin akong mapakitang emosyon pero pag titignan nila ako ngingiti nalang ako ng pilit.
My doctor came. "You can go home now, Mr. Estabillo." he said.
We left the hospital and I got into the car with Z. We were in the backseat. "You can remove your arms now." I said coldly.
She quickly removed her hand. "Just go with the flow." she giggled.
I was quiet while waiting for our destination, I just let Zaraiah talk but I ignored her. There's a lot going on in my mind right now. I am thinking of Camilla while she is crying earlier.
'Love, I'm sorry I'm a coward.'
I texted Jedi before going out of the car.
Me:
Jedi asan ka? Kasama mo ba si Camilla?
Nagreply siya kaagad.
Jedi:
Oo kasama ko siya, nasa Karaoke bar kami ngayon.
Me:
What? Bakit nandiyan kayo?
Jedi:
Hindi ba obvious Kei? nasasaktan siya gustong kumanta nakakabawas daw kasi ng sakit. Konti lang din ang iniinom niya dahil binabantayan siya ni Yariel.
I sighed heavily.
Me:
Huwag niyo nalang siyang pabayaan. Salamat.
'Ako dapat ang gumagawa noon, pero ako ang nagpapahirap sa kaniya.'
I got out of the car, I saw Z waiting for me. His arm immediately dangled from mine. We walked into a classy restaurant.
'They really prepared for this.'
After we got there, we ate right away, because I had no appetite, I just ate little by little. When everyone finished eating, I heard sweet music. Someone is playing the violin.
"Kaizer, isayaw mo si Zaraiah." I stand and grabbed Z. Gusto ko ng matapos ito para mapuntahan ko na si Camilla.
Magiging puppet muna ako sa ngayon. I saw everyone taking a picture of us. I was shocked when Zaraiah kiss me on my lips.
'Shit!'
I pulled away, then I sat on a chair. She follows me and sat on my lap. "What are you doing?!" I was so shocked on what se did, I push her. She sat beside me.
