"Isn't Ningning so adorable?!" Jisu whined as she showed the group picture she took with her friends yesterday to Yuna. Yuna chuckled before nodding along, studying the girl who had tied up her hair in loose braids.
"Min Jeong's lucky," Jisu huffed as she scrolled through the pictures the group took together briefly to let Yuna glance at them. The girls were comfortably curled up on the sofa, the movie that they were watching earlier just giving them some background noise.
"Now that you have a boyfriend here in Korea..." Yuna cleared her throat as Jisu looked away from her phone, giving her attention to Yuna. Yuna looked at her fingers shyly before locking eyes with Jisu.
"Are you still going to move to California?" Yuna's voice came out a whisper as she ran a hand through her hair. Jisu smiled softly before pulling Yuna into a hug.
"Yuna, you know I love it here where I'm with you and my friends. Soobin's a bonus too. But... I've been dreaming to go back to California since I was a kid. There's no way I'm giving up that dream just for Soobin."
Jisu knew the sole reason Yuna didn't want her to go to California was that she'd have to move in with her mother again since she was not a legal adult yet.
Jisu pursed her lips as she watched Yuna lower her head, squeezing her hands as her eyes darted around, processing what Jisu had told her even if she had heard it many times already.
"I'm sorry Nana," Jisu whispered as she pulled the younger girl into a side hug, smiling slightly as she rubbed her arm. Yuna offered a half-hearted smile before looking at the tv screen again.
"Tell you what." Jisu cleared her throat as she turned her body to face Yuna, grinning. Yuna looked at her expectantly, staring at her as she kept on her poker face.
"I'll buy you that camera you're always asking me to buy," Jisu chuckled slightly seeing the spark in Yuna's eye as she mentioned a camera. Jisu ruffled her hair as she clasped her hands, a broad smile adorning her face.
"But didn't you say you don't have enough money?" Yuna questioned as she furrowed her eyebrows, letting her hands fall onto her lap as she stared at Jisu suspiciously.
Jisu fiddled with her fingers as she looked down, gulping. She released a sigh before sending Yuna a reassuring smile, deciding against telling her how she would spend the money Cammy had left her.
"You're using Aunt Cam's money, aren't you?" Jisu's eyes widened slightly as she looked at Yuna, surprised she had figured that out. She had underestimated how smart Yuna could be sometimes.
"I don't want it if you're using that money on me." Yuna huffed as she looked to the front again, crossing her arms as she maintained her blank expression. Jisu chuckled before ruffling her hair again, shaking her head.
"Have you told Soobin yet?" Yuna asked quietly as the duo focused on the show playing on the tv. Jisu ran a hand through her hair before shaking her head quietly.
"He wouldn't like it if you kept this from him." Yuna hummed knowingly as she looked at Jisu again. Jisu looked at her with a raised eyebrow, pushing her playfully before shaking her head.
But she knew Yuna was right.

"Hi babes," Soobin hummed as he planted a kiss on Jisu's forehead, placing the paper bag on the counter as he did so. Jisu huffed as she rolled her eyes playfully, losing track of how many times she's told Soobin not to disturb her when she was working.
"My boss is going to find out soon," Jisu nudged Soobin before snaking her arms around his waist, looking up at him with a dreamy smile. Soobin snorted at her contradicting words but wrapped his arms around her nonetheless.
"I have something to tell you," Jisu mumbled shyly as she buried her face into his chest, an alarm going off on her watch. Soobin hummed lowly in response, a smile growing on his lips knowing that it was now Jisu's break.
"Let's have lunch first. Should we have the spring rolls down the street?" Soobin asked, tugging a hair strand behind her ear as she nodded eagerly. He waited for her to take off her apron before handing her the paper bag.
"Ningning forgot her coat at the party. Could you help me pass this to her?" Jisu nodded before taking the paper bag from Soobin, disappearing into the kitchen to find Min Jeong.
Soobin dug his hands into his pockets as he watched Jisu walk out of the kitchen, putting on her cardigan as she made her way to him. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder before the duo started to walk to the stall.
"Is it nice?" Soobin chuckled as Jisu munched on her food happily, continuously stabbing the spring rolls in the cup with the stick they provided. Jisu nodded her head silently since there was still food in her mouth.
"What was it that you wanted to ask me?" Soobin asked nonchalantly before inhaling the spring roll. Jisu swallowed her food before glancing at Soobin, suddenly feeling guilty.
"I'm moving back to California..." Jisu whispered as she lowered her head, playing with the spring rolls in her cup as she felt Soobin's eyes staring at her in surprise.
"I don't really expect a response right now, but you're not mad right?" Jisu asked carefully, studying Soobin's shocked expression as he stood rooted to the ground, eyes glazed over as he processed what Jisu had told him.
Soobin flinched slightly as he regained his composure, looking over at Jisu who stared back at him expectantly. He hummed absent-mindedly as he felt his mind go all over the place.
Jisu's moving to California.

"So? What are you going to do?" Beomgyu asked as he glanced at his older brother, who rubbed his hands together as he thought about it silently, eyebrows furrowed.
The three siblings sat together yet again, having been called by their older brother this time. He had just told them about the bomb Jisu dropped on him and was worried about how a long-distance relationship would work.
"I..." Soobin's voice faltered as his eyes wavered, stressed about the decision he had to make on how to possibly salvage a relationship. It wasn't supposed to be hard, but the media had shown him otherwise.
Soobin was scared Jisu would find someone better than him and would two-time behind his back although he knows Jisu wouldn't stoop so low. Min Jeong mentioned that Jisu adored tall boys, there are thousands of them there, maybe even millions!
"I'll move with her," Soobin whispered as he let his hands drop on his lap limply. He looked over to his younger siblings who gasped in shock at the same time, astonished by the decision their brother decided to make.
"I'll move with her!" Soobin recited with more enthusiasm before getting up from his seat, grinning as he went to take his jacket and walked out of the house, not another word being uttered to his siblings who were left there, confused and lost.
"Did he really...just decide to move to another country without us?" Beomgyu asked in disbelief as he turned back to Yun-Jae who could only nod slowly with her mouth still open in shock.
Beomgyu huffed sassily, falling back onto his chair as he stared out the window. He chuckled in disbelief, shaking his head as Yun-Jae looked over at him enquiringly.
"Love truly makes us do the unexpected."
