Chapter 8

I sighed before looking back at Artemis, "you're a lucky bitch today, but next time don't count on surviving." With that said I flung Artemis towards the campers and my teammates who were all staring at me in shock as Artemis hit a tree. As soon as she hit the tree it cracked and broke as Artemis crumpled to the ground and I opened a portal and left, Eris following behind me.

~~3RD Person POV~~

After Eris stepped out of the portal into the main room of the mansion the portal closed. Lucifer was standing in front of his master and was looking at being as Eris stood next to him, the being emitted a lot of power. More power than a Titan, which Lucifer quickly figured out it was a primordial but didn't know who. "Good job Lucifer and Eris, but you could've drawn out the fight a little bit longer with Artemis. We can't let the gods know just how well you are now can we?" The being said looking down at the tall demi-titan (titan? or demi-primordial? I'm not sure which I should go with yet. But I'll let y'all know soon.) who in turn just raised an eyebrow at the being.

"Really? Against that glorified cavewoman with a bow? By the time she was ready to fight me she was going solely off of anger. That fight was me taking my time, and I was holding back. If I wanted to I could have left her within an inch of her life, literally, in 3 minutes." Lucifer told the being as he crossed his arms, already having enough of the person's attitude. The person didn't say anything for a bit before nodding. "Be that as it may, still good work you may leave Lucifer but Eris you stay, I need to have a word with you alone." Lucifer nodded before walking away and leaving the room, not fully closing the doors behind him unbeknownst to the other two.

Eris bowed to the being before looking up at it "What do you wish to speak about master?" She asked the cloaked figure, "I need you to keep an eye on him, I don't think he's fully on our side yet. So when you can, keep sewing the discord in his mind and if possible do it while he's sleeping." The person told Eris who in response gulped nervously before nodding. "As you wish master, and I will have more monsters ready as soon as possible." The being nodded before motioning for her to leave and she did so rather quickly to figure out what to do.

~~Lucifer's POV~~

After the primordial was done talking to Eris I quickly teleported to my room and sat down on my bed. "Dammit, what am I going to do? I can't keep holding her magic back, and how am I going to rescue my mother?" I asked to no one as I laid down on my bed, trying to come up with a plan. I laid there thinking for gods know how long and I slowly fell asleep, as I was sleeping I dreamt that I was in the primordial throne room. I walked around for a bit before Chaos appeared in his throne and I looked at him. He was in his 15' human/primordial form, he had tan skin, pitch black hair that was slicked back, a black three piece suit that had galaxies on it, and a black tie that was the same way with a white button up shirt and black dress shoes.

"Lucifer, this is not a dream well it is but it isn't, but that's not important. Look, I know you hate the gods but what you're doing right now will not end well for anyone. You need get your head straight and fight against that being, not join him." Chaos spoke as I looked up at him, I bowed slightly to him before sighing and shaking my head. "Yes I know Chaos, I'm trying to figure out who it is, and I'm trying to save my mother from it. But look, I need either Nyx's or Tartarus' blessing, Eris is here and she's trying to make absolutely sure I'm on their side. I need away to regain energy because being down here in Tartarus (being in Tartarus and hoping to get the blessing of Tartarus, how fun) I can't get enough fast enough. I can keep repelling her magic but I have to let some in to make her think it's working and I can feel it working very slowly." Chaos nodded in response and took a few minutes before replying, "Alright I'll think of something, just hold her off as long as you can until then. But for now I must go, before anyone gets suspicious." I woke up and shot up into a sitting position as I took a few deep breaths. Holy fuck, he has to stop with that stuff, makes me go into a fucking death state when he does. I thought to myself as I looked around my room, it wasn't bad, it was big enough for a queen sized bed, a nice big tv, a walk in closet on one side of the room, and a connected bathroom on the other side.
