"Good evening, Mr. Jefferson," Ms. Roddington told me with a smile as I sat down.

"Good evening," I replied with a grin that I tried to make look happy.

"It's unfortunate the other 2 had to cancel at the last minute."

"It is. There were complications in their schedules. But don't worry; I know them well enough to know what they would say."

"That's wonderful to hear!"

"So, how does this work, exactly?"

"Oh, it's nothing too complicated or nerve-racking. It's just me asking you questions about your attraction and all that good stuff. I will, of course, be recording it so I don't misinterpret anything. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes."

"Alright, then."

The reporter in her early 50's then pulled out a mini voice recorder and placed it on the table in front of us.

"Ok, then, Mr. Jefferson, let's start with this: Why did you and your friends, Chuck Cameron and Guy Cawthon, decide to create a horror attraction based on the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza chain?"

"Well, it's actually pretty interesting: We all met at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1997, specifically, June 20th, my 6th birthday. After keeping in touch ever since, we discovered that that restaurant in particular was closed the same year for sanitization violations, but there were rumors that there were darker reasons. So, we put our minds and skills together about what those reasons could be and eventually came up with Fazbear's Fright!"

"Minds and skills? What skills would that be?"

"Well, Chuck has always been outgoing and a real people person, so he was perfect for finding old employees and getting information. Guy loves antiques of any kind, so he was able to find good deals on old merchandise from the old locations. And me...well, I'm good at being a horror Guinea pig; I test the attraction every now and then to make sure it delivers the best fright it can!"

"I see. So, you claim you came up with some of the reasons for why the restaurant closed. Care to share what those reasons are?"

"Well, I don't want to reveal too much, but we believe there have been some incidents of missing children throughout the company's history, as well as one incident of a customer getting injured from one of the animatronic characters."

That last part almost seemed to make her smoky-red hair stand on edge as she took a deep breath.

"Alright, then," she finally replied. "So, please tell me what we can expect from this attraction."

"Well, it's dark and ominous, save for a few lamps made from old animatronic body shells. There are old sounds from voice boxes constantly playing, as well. We also recently found some old audio training cassettes that we plan to play near the 'office' of the complex."

"But what about the scares? Surely a horror attraction must have actual scares."

"Well...I don't want to reveal our biggest secret completely, but we recently found something that is surely to make our audience scream in terror! It's old, never-before-seen, and frightening as Hell itself!"

"Interesting! Alright, then, Mr. Jefferson, tell us, where can we find Fazbear's Fright and when does it open?"

"You can find Fazbear's Fright in the center of the Scottsdale Strip Mall in downtown Scottdale. It opens this Monday, June 26th at 12 am!"

"Sounds intriguing! Thank you, Eric Jefferson."

"No problem at all, Courtney Roddington!"

She then leaned over and turned the recorder off.

"See?" She asked. "Nothing to worry about!"

"I suppose not," I replied with a more confident smile. "Thanks for having me."

"Oh, it's my pleasure," she replied as we shook hands. "Good luck on your attraction. And tell your friends I wish them luck, as well!"

"Will do."

I then grabbed my coat and left the newspaper building. Well, it was a quick and easy interview, but I'm still not entirely relieved; Chuck and Guy are still not here, and the attraction officially opens in less than 29 hours!

On top of that, I still have to watch the place again. That means 6 more hours of being in the same building as Springtrap...I really hope everything runs smoothly for me. And I really hope I find my friends.
