Random facts about The Mirror Kingdom, AKA where Kade, Ark, Con, War, and Arin are from:
1: It's very, very cold. It can drop to lows below -70 F (-56.6 C) during the cold depths of winter, and even in summer it never goes over 105 F (40 C) at the absolute hottest. Snow tends to be powdery and nice, but in the depths of December, when it hits the lowest, the whole capital freezes over in ice and permafrost. Anyone stuck outside will freeze and die.
2: The Kingdom has been at war with their hated rivals, The Ruby Empire, longer than anyone can remember. Because of this, one of the Rubies main exports (Red dye) does not exist in the Mirror kingdom. And the Mirror export, an extremely reflective metal called Mirroes, as well as most reflective surfaces, doesn't exist in the The Rubies. There is one Ruby product that the Mirrors want, which they call Sop. It's essentially just Soda, except they drink it in a slightly different manner that I can't exactly describe. They use either a decorative stopper or their thumbs to plug the top of a straw, then slowly let the liquid trapped inside dribble into their mouths. It's weird, but there isn't much Sop so they have to savor it.
