After their wonderful lovemaking, Lorena sat on the other side of his desk. She could watch him concentrate on his work for hours. Yesterday at this time she was still a virgin and now they had made love three times. She couldn't get enough of it. Silvano was so different from what she expected. He spoke to her with respect, and those sweet words he occasionally used only made her fall for him even more. She knew it was dangerous to open her heart to him. Although he had said he wanted to try, she didn't know what the future would look like. But, she thought to herself, even if this what they had turned out to be nothing, she never wanted to miss these moments with him. He had captured a piece of her heart that would never be for anyone else. For the first time in her life she understood the people who spoke lovingly about someone and would do anything for them. Yes, she was in love with this handsome man. Something she hadn't planned to do at all, but had happened unexpectedly. And as it was at the moment, she wanted nothing more than to enjoy it.

Silvano looked up from work and smiled seductively at her. There went her body again, he only had to smile at her and her body was ready for him. She shook her head laughing. He looked at her questioningly. "What?" he asked.

"Nothing, I like to watch you."

"Hey, I have to say that," he said, winking. She could get used to this playful Silvano.

Their moment was interrupted by a loud beep from the door. He brought his eyebrows together. "I don't expect any visitors," he said in explanation. He got up and walked with his impressive body to the intercom. His gaze darkened and looked at Lorena for a moment. Without saying a word, he hung up and walked towards her. "My father is on his way up, maybe you should go to the bedroom," he said in a serious tone, and gone was playful Silvano.

She nodded defeated and walked in the direction he was pointing. Wasn't she good enough for his father? Why did he want to hide her? Before she could think any further, she heard the same authoritative voice she'd heard in Silvano's car.

"I'm very disappointed in you, Silvano."

Silvano looked at his father without emotion. He had already gotten used to it. His father expressing his displeasure at him. Such was not new.

"Father, I called you."

He nodded. "Yeah, I saw that, but I wanted to see you in person and ask why the hell Isabella is upset that you don't want her."

Silvano gritted his teeth, trying to maintain control. "Isabella isn't the woman you think she is. She is possessive and a spoiled bitch who gets everything from her father that she wishes. When she doesn't get her way, she's insufferable."

"Are you saying I never gave you what you wanted?" his father asked him in a poisonous voice. Silvano stepped over to his father and then smelled the booze emanating from him. "You've given me a lot, but I never had what I wanted from you." His father looked at him with a frown. "Nonsense, what nonsense. After what you did to your mother, you are lucky how I raised you."

Silvano had a blur before his eyes. "Take that back," Silvano hissed through his teeth. "What? That you killed your mother? No, I'm not taking that back, because it is. I'd trade you in for her. If only you had never been born."

It was like getting punched in the face. He felt the blood drain from his face and stepped back. For the first time in his life, he had no answer to his father.

"Enough!" someone shouted from behind him. He saw his father look past him and Silvano turned. Lorena stood in the doorway, fists clenched. She took a brisk step toward his father and stopped when she stood in front of him. "How can you be so disrespectful to your son? You don't even realize what you have and that makes you a lonely unhappy man. But I can agree with you on one thing. You have indeed given your son something good, because he is a very sweet man who has his heart in the right place. He has the strongest personality and respect for his fellow man. Something I can't say about you. So if you'll excuse me, I'm asking you to leave now. Because we don't have to accept this kind of negative energy."

She stood in front of his father confidently. He wanted to say something, but again he had no words ready. He couldn't see her look, but he could see his father was impressed by Lorena. His father blinked and looked past her at Silvano. "You let her talk to me like that?" he asked furiously. He shifted his gaze to Lorena. "Do you have any idea who you're talking to?" But before Silvano could say anything, Lorena beat him to it. "You don't mean this, do you? Haven't you heard how you've just been talking to your very own son? I've never heard anyone say such a heartless thing. You are his father, but you definitely don't behave like that. Not a trace of love is to be seen in your words. And no, I don't know anything about you other than that you're a heartless father and I'll stick to that. There's the door," she said, icy calm, pointing her finger at the elevator. His father sniffed and glared at her. She nodded her head again for the exit, and without another word his father rushed to the elevator.
