Truce by Twenty One Pilots
I gasp for air as i reach the surface of the river and flip my hair back with my hand so i could see.I look to my left with a smug grin on my face, hoping to see Sam but instead i just saw the empty river.I frown and turn around to see my right.She wasn't there.My heart beat speeds up rapidly as i look up to where i had jumped, wondering if she didn't jump after all.She wasn't there.
Shit.
I frantically move around the water trying to find Sam.She had to be here.There was nowhere else for her to go.
"Sam"I shout loudly as i try and scan the water for any trances of her.
No responce.
I take a deep breathe before submerging myself into the water.I open my eyes but can't see her anywhere i look.
I lift myself back up to the surface so i can breathe again.
"Sam"I scream louder.
I feel a slight tapping on my shoulder causing me to jump in shock.As i begin to turn,i feel something push me back down into the water.
I come out of the water quickly, to be greeted by a chuckling Sam who was wiping tears from her eyes after laughing so much.
"Are you serious!?"I shout causing her to laugh even more.
"That was really cute"She grins like an idiot.
I feel my cheeks heat up and i groan to cover it up "I thought you drowned!"
She puts her bottom lip out and pouts "Sorry"
"Your going to pay"I shake my head and laugh
"You wouldn't" She tests me raising an eyebrow.
"Too late" i grin and start to run as fast as i could through the heavy water towards Sam which was proven a task.
Sam quickly swims over towards the river bank and starts to climb up turning ever so often to see if i'm close.
I rapidly swim after her and mould my hands onto her hips before pulling her down under the water with me.I wrap my arms tightly around her stomach and lift her back up to the surface.
"Dick!"She shouts whilst giggling and pushing me down under the water again.I felt like i could stay here forever.

"I feel gross" Sam complains as she squeezes the end of her shirt to try and get rid of the water.
"I did tell you to not wear your clothes" I cockily prove
"i just didn't want to" She groans as she lets the wet t shirt stick to her skin once again despite her efforts.
"It's not like i haven't seen you without one before" i add which causes her to freeze in her tracks.
"Why won't you tell me what happened last night?"She asks quietly almost in a whisper
I laugh awkwardly "What does it mean to you?"
She sighs before walking at a steady pace beside me on the forest pathway
"I just do stupid things when i'm drunk" She shrugs
I poke her gently "Well i can reassure you that you didn't do anything stupid"
She giggles lightly before pushing my shoulder back.
"I highly doubt that"
I think about what she said for a second.She seemed so confident that she was right and quite sad about it.I open my mouth to speak but her voice stops me.
"If it's nothing big, why won't you tell me?"She grins looking back up at me.
I blush at her intense stare and try to hide it by using my hand to brush the hair out of my face.
"Because then i would have nothing to use against you" I chuckle at her as she groans in response.
"That's unfair!I have nothing to use against you"She laughs bitterly
"Ahh such a shame" I sigh sarcastically and she frowns.
I stop in my tracks and poke her gently in the cheek causing her to stop and glare at me.
"Why don't you"I begin and reach my fingers for the corners of her lips before tugging them up. "turn that frown upside down"
I mentally slap myself.Why the fuck did i just touch her lips and say that.I swear i am going insane.This is not me.I never do this.
She lightly giggles "Happy now?" She speaks after i remove my fingers; still mentally slapping myself for even thinking of doing that.
"You look beautiful when you smile you should do it more often" I crack her smile and she raises an eyebrow
"Sure thing i'll let you think that"
"What?Are you serious?It's true Sammy"
"Shut uppp" She groans whilst hiding her pink cheeks in her hands
"No i will not shut up until you admit it!"I shout loudly whilst grinning like an idiot.I swear, what this girl does to me...
"Calvin shush" She laughs and puts a finger to my lips causing me to silence almost immediatel and stare at her finger.
"thank you"She chuckles after i don't speak and removes it from my lips.
Sam turns around from me and continues to walk in front.
"SAM IS BEAUIFUL" I shout after her leaving causing her to laugh.
"Caluuuuum"She whines as i entwine my fingers into hers causing her to tense but soon relax at my touch.
"Saaaaaaam"I mimic and swing our arms cheerily as we walked
"You're a pain the ass" She giggles whilst tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Right back at ya"I wink

"Now where too?"I ask aloud as we finally reach the streets again.
"I'm not sure"She sighs and looks up at the darkening clouds." But i'm sure it's going to rain"
"Typical British weather" I attempt the accent but fail miserably causing Sam to giggle.
"Yeah i prefer you being Australian" She smiles up at me.I swear i was a giant comparred to her.She was so tiny.
"Me too" i cross the road still firmly holding Sam's hand.
"Sooo"She drags out "Why are you here?Like why aren't you at home?"
I freeze inside.She can't know who i really am.She doesn't need to know i'm famous.I'm not going to see her after this weekend anyway.
"Came to be a tourist really" I laugh awkwardly scratching the back of my neck "You know see Big Ben,Tower of London,London Eye,Buckingham-"
"I do live here you know i know all the touristy stuff"She laughs probably thinking i was rambling excitedly when really i was shitting myself from nerves.
"Oh yeah" I try to laugh but it just comes out so fake it makes me cringe.
A cold drop of water lands on my nose sending shivers down my spine.Then another and another.
Drip.Drip.Drip.
