"Hellooooo guys! How are you all doing today? Did you drink water? Eat a good meal? Get a good night's rest? If not, make sure you stay hydrated, eat something a little healthy, it doesn't have to be a big meal maybe just a small salad! And take a nap if you feel tired!"
Alora had just started her stream after letting the intro 'stream starting soon' play. She hadn't really figured out what to do this stream. She was bad at planning things like that. But chat always came up with entertainment for themselves. They were pretty easy to please, considering she never got over 500.
"Today I'm just gonna do whatever you guys want! let's start reading chat!" Alora skimmed through the first few replies she saw, which were mainly asking about her singing. Alora is very good at singing, she just didn't believe it, so she was always a little shy about her singing. "Sing this new song I found its really good!" she said reading her chat. "i mean okay! what is it Josh?" She was mainly on a first name basis with a lot of her viewers, she had grown very close to them over the past few months she started streaming. She didn't consider it parasocial or anything, she would never contact them outside of twitch, these things just naturally came up for her.
Josh put the song in chat and thus interrupting Alora from her thoughts. Alora had never heard of this artist before, but she had nothing else to do.
"Life by the sea? Okay I guess! Let me find the lyrics and then a karaoke version or something" she clicked around a little bit on youtube trying to find a karaoke or sing-along but she was unsuccessful. which could only mean one thing..."Ughhh josh why did you have to pick a song that has no single karaoke version? so annoying i swear" she said playfully, truthfully, she didn't particularly like singing acapella but it wasn't too bad.
After listening to it once and memorizing a lot of the melodies and beat, she attempted acapella. She began singing with chat blowing up in all caps about how they loved her singing without a backing track. Alora chuckled to herself over all the love and got to the chorus. Suddenly, she was very close to the camera and shouted "Life by the sea!" in the most cockney british accent possible, and then burst out laughing at herself. Alora had a slight british accent, considering she had moved to Britain a few years ago, but it wasn't as strong as she had just pretend it was.
Meanwhile...at a dorm in London
"Alright chat! I think I'm gonna end it here, but I wanna raid someone! Does anybody have any suggestions?" West had just finished one of his self-patented "rise and grind" streams, in which he gets all of his missing schoolwork in with the company of chat. None of his friends were live, but he missed raiding. Even if he didn't know who they were, he likes to raid small streamers, likes to see the look on their faces when they realized what happened.
"This girl is singing your mate's song West! Her twitch user is auroradreamss. She's really good!" He read the chat aloud, it seemed like a lovely idea to raid her, so he told chat his thoughts and searched for her username. He was shocked at really just how small of a streamer she was, she only had 200 viewers at the time. West was pondering how she might be new to the platform when his thought was interrupted by a little voice- She's really pretty... West froze. The phrase 'what just happened' was running through his mind 10 times a second. He looked back at his screen and it all clicked. This girl has eye catching beauty. Stop and stare kind of beauty. West was mesmerized by it. Eventually he snapped out of it from the sound of a donation alert, calling him out for the pink blush on his cheeks. He shook it off, said bye to chat, and told them to give lots of love to auroradreamss as he clicked the raid button.
Back to Alora's room...
Alora was nearing the end of the song after giggling slightly at chat's jokes and right as she sang the last line of the song, she heard a raid. She almost didn't recognize the sound because of how little she was raided. "Who just raided me?" she asked with a slight smile, appreciative of someone taking their time to raid her.
Her jaw dropped in awe as she saw her chat going crazy with 'WESTRAID' and 'WESTANDERSONFAM' West? Why was West Anderson so familiar? It clicked almost immediately 'oh my god he's a really big streamer' She had to say something- "Uhhhh HELLO new viewers!! I can't believe I just got raided with a party of over 23k omg thank you so much West Anderson for the raid! Uhm I can sing more songs in a minute if you want." She added in a small chuckle in hopes to delay her freak out. She was still in shock as tons of follows and subs came in, she almost screamed, but she would've awoken Jack. It was around 1 am after all. Alora was trying to keep up with chat when a massive donation came in and the text to speech read it "Hey can I have your insta? I have to go but I'd like to talk if you want to! -West"
Alora took a moment to turn off her camera, let the blush come onto her face, her jaw drop, and briefly screamed into her pillow before coming back and saying "Oh yeah sure! It's aurora dreams with pictures all one word and there are 2 s's after dreams, it's also in the little about me section below." She hoped she played that smoothly, and knew she would be losing her mind over this later.

3am...
It had been about 2 hours since the first raid, she was down to about 1,000 viewers, which was still unbelievable to her. West had left a while ago, he should go to sleep. Alora thought. Alora had since sang more of chat's song requests and introduced herself to her new viewers quite a bit since the raid.
"Alright chat! It has been a grand stream but I should probably get some rest! I hope you all enjoyed and make sure to take care of yourself! Mwah!" She said as she blew a kiss to her camera "Byeeeeee!!!!" Alora pressed the end stream button and immediately slumped in her chair. She was exhausted from talking so much in the past five hours. Alora found the strength to stand up and head to her bed, it was nights like these she didn't bother with her routine, just changed into a little comfier clothes and then grabbed her phone and started switching through social media apps. Of course she had received more followers on her instagram and twitter, as they were linked on her about me, but she was slightly surprised when she saw West had dm'ed her on instagram.
@westanderson
"hey! loved the stream earlier, i did lurk for a little bit lol. i really enjoyed your singing! hope to catch some more of your streams!"Alora blushed. She couldn't believe West had watched her struggle through all those songs and had private thoughts she would probably never get to know. Alora tried to stay calm with this knowledge, but it was really hard with the fuel of sleep deprivation also in the back of her mind.
@auroradreamsswithpictures
"hii! thanks for raiding me again and thank you for the compliment on my singing! i recently got into it and chat always tells me to sing now. Life By The Sea and some of your other friends's songs are definitely on my playlists now lol."Alora had already felt so comfortable with West, which was weird since he was just a stranger she knew nothing about. But something about him was calming...she just couldn't place it. It couldn't be his accent, she had met plenty of british men who had nowhere near the same effect on her. She thought some more, before forgetting it and deciding to think about it in the morning.
