"Remember when you fell? You slipped and said 'oh bejeez', my God, that was hilarious!" Katie said clutching her stomach as she laughed hard.

"Why do you love bringing it up? So annoying" Aiden said as he rolled his eyes and ate some more ice-cream.

Katie clenched her teeth together, hoping she'd stop laughing, but she couldn't.

"It's okay, you can laugh" Aiden mumbled grumpily and Katie burst out laughing, again.

After a solid one minute, she calmed down and stopped laughing, her cheeks and stomach hurting.

"Okay sorry" Katie said as she raised her arms, feigning surrender.

Aiden just felt a little lost. He never realised he missed her so much. He never realised that he missed her laugh, her talks and most importantly, all the little things he was missing out on since she had left for New York.

In the end, it's always the little things that you miss out on, the little things that matter so much.
