A Change of Heart

Author's Note: So this is my favorite chapter I've written so far, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I did writing it! Also while writing this I was listening to Dangerous by Left Boy, and it totally reminds me of Gyutaro in this chapter. (>‿♥)

(Also small warning, there are drugs and alcohol in this chapter)

After your study night together, Gyutaro couldn't stop thinking about you. Couldn't stop thinking about how you made him feel. All of these emotions he's never experienced before, he couldn't wrap his head around them. That day he felt more positive emotions than he's felt in his entire life. You made him feel horny, cared for, precious even. Overall you just made him feel good. And this man was a total wreck because of it. And unfortunately he doesn't know how to accept these feelings. What he struggled with the most was that a human was making him feel this way, and he just couldn't accept it. No matter how much, deep down, he wanted to.

Maggot. Useless. Pathetic.

That's all humans are, so that must be all you are too. You're nothing. Your life means absolutely nothing to Gyutaro. He doesn't need you. He doesn't need anyone except his sister. There's no way he'd miss a disgraceful thing like you. If you were to disappear he wouldn't even bat an eye. Because if he did, then that'd mean that he's weak. And Gyutaro is anything but weak.

I'm not weak. I'm not a pathetic, worthless worm like you.

He couldn't care less if you died. Hell he'd love to watch you die, he wouldn't feel anything but pure bliss watching you die a slow and painful death. He wouldn't miss anything about you. Your conversations, your almost daily gaming sessions, they mean nothing to him. Or at least that's what he has convinced himself. So if you were to disappear, he wouldn't care. Right?

Gyutaro has been acting really strange lately. He hasn't asked you to play games with him, and every time you ask he either just ignores your texts or tells you he's busy. He's been ignoring you in class too, he only speaks to you if you start the conversation and even then he's very short with his responses. You asked Ume about it and she said that her brother's just weird like that. You know he's a little shy and standoffish at times but he's never been quite like this. You can't help but think that it's related to that night when you went over to his place. Did you fuck it all up somehow?
