Tulip

"Saan galing iyan?" Jasmine curiously asked me while staring sa pink flower na nasa chair ko. Our classmates said it was there before they had arrived.

It is a fresh picked pink tulip that I found so beautiful and elegant.

"I don't know, it was already there when I arrived here." I simply explained to her with a little hint of curiousity also.

This is just amazing because pink is my favorite color and tulip is a memorable flower to me kasi it reminds of the moment when our country almost had its chance for change and improvement.

"Maybe someone wants to court you bestie." Jasmine is teasing me right now, hilig niya talaga itease ako lalo na pagdating sa love. She wants me to have a boyfriend para raw may maging masaya na ang puso ko.

"Beh, ayaw ko dagdag responsibilidad hirap na hirap na nga ako rito magboboyfriend pa ako, gosh I cannot." I exclaimed to her at umupo na ako sa seat ko habang inaamoy ang tulips, ang fresh pa nila I really love it.

"Ayaw raw magboyfriend pero mukhang amuse na amuse sa tulips, oh my friend you can never lie to me." parang natatawang sabi ni Jasmine sabay upo na katabi ko and iniisip ko pa rin saan ko ilalagay itong flowers... maybe sa locker lagay ko muna.

"Wait me here, I'll just put these sa locker ko." pagpapaalam ko kay Jasmine at tumakbo na palabas, papunta sa aking locker near the stairs.

I quickly ran to my locker kasi baka malate pa ako sa first period namin mapapagalitan pa ako ni Ma'am and I don't like that. Good impression lang dapat ako kina ma'am and sa friends ko lang naman ako nagiging baliw.

I saw someone rin na nasa locker near mines, putting his books inside, familiar ang back niya and I think he is Aquilas.

I opened my locker while holding the tulips. Suddenly, Aquilas is looking at me and doon din sa tulips that is making him smile. Lakas ng trip ng man na ito oh.

"May I ask, saan galing iyung flowers Jade?" he politely asked me after niyang isarado ang locker niya at nakaharap na siya sa akin ngayon.

"I do not know, when I arrived these were on my seat already." I responded to him while slowly organizing the flowers inside of my locker and sinarado na agad after.

"Those are pretty." he complimented that is making my heart pound so fast ewan ko kung bakit.

Well, pretty talaga sila para ring iyung binigyan both sila pretty.

"Yes, and I am thankful to who ever gave them to me. Actually those are my favorite flowers and the color is my favorite color it somehow brings back my childhood." I gladly intoned him while he is there chuckling and smiling while listening to me.

Ang comforting ng aura niya, his aura is so light and safe. I feel na want ko pa magkuwento sa kaniya nang more.

"You look like an angel, Jade." he suddenly complimented me still staring at me so intensely and sweet.

Beh, tigilan mo iyan kinikilig na ang person, mamaya hindi ko mapigilan at mahimatay ako sa harap mo beh.

"Matagal ko nang alam." I replied to him that made him chuckle. Totoo naman, matagal ko nang knows na mukha akong anghel sa ganda kong ito.

"Yeah yeah, you know that's good you are aware how gorgeous you are." Aquilas added that makes my heart beat fast na naman, I need a lot of water na siguro kasi panay na takbo ng puso ko.

Aquilas, stop nababaliw na ako here oh respeto naman sa nananahimik kong buhay.

"Oh my gosh, I need to go back to my room na, byeee!" pagpapaalam ko nang mabilis kay Aquilas when I checked my close, two mins na lang before our class starts.

"Bye Gorgeous." I heard Aquilas said sabay takbo na ako nang mabilis to my room. Luckily, when I arrived ma'am is not yet there. Noong pumasok ako ng room, everyone is looking at me so matindi, para bang may nakikita sila sa akin ngayon na hindi nila nakita sa akin even before.

"Hi guys." bati ko sa kanila sabay punta na sa chair ko. Everyone is still looking at me na tila bang may something talaga sa akin right now.

"Beh, you look damn hot right now." Jasmine whispered to me that makes me shock. Anong hot? Ang init kaya hirap tumakbo malamang pagpapawisan ako.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay then toom my phone from my pocket at hinarap ko sa akin ang nakaturn off kong phone to use as my mirror.

Oh my, my hair is wet and messy. I am sweating and due to the sunlight my skin is glowing right now.

I do look damn hot.

"Charan." pinicturan ako bigla ni Jasmine habang ito ako namamangha sa aking face ngayon.

"What was that for?" I asked Jasmine using my whisper voice.

She gave a smirk.

"For memories madam, malay mo magagamit ko ito for the future na kung sana baka I can reto-reto na you to other hot boys." she is literally teasing me dahil lang pawisan ako ngayon.

"Madam, kapag nakita ko talagang kumalat iyan sa ibang tao kakasuhan kita ng RA 1333666 or the stolen shot act of 2169 major in hot mode ni Jade Orcillo ganda walang katulad." sagot ko pabalik still being mesmerized by my beauty na tila bang diyosa.

Hinampas naman niya ako nang mahina na nagpasakit tuloy ng braso ko. Ang bigat bigat ng kamay nito ang sakit-sakit ng hampas nito.

Someone entered the room and umayos na agad ang lahat, I hid my phone rapidly.

"Hello, everyone! Ma'am De Leon is not present for today but, her nephew is here to cite what his auntie wants to say to you all. Nathaniel, please enter the room." Sir Cruz said habang hawak-hawak ang door namin and noong pumasok na siya, sumunod sa kaniya si Aquilas.

He is ma'am De Leon's nephew? Wow, what a small world indeed.

"Hello Grade 12 Phoenix, so ma'am De Leon wants you guys to review lessons 1 to 5 and prepare for your long quiz tomorrow, that's all." Aquilas said in his serious voice, and now he is looking at me kaya tuloy kinalabit ako ni Jasmine.

Before Aquilas left, he gave me an envelope and inside the envelope is a letter.

Flowers can represent your beauty,
Tulips do really give you a wonderful quality,
